Pt. 19

"So I told Joe he cant be running around with these little young girls, they just want his money".

"Leave that man alone. Im pretty sure he knows that he is not stupid thats for one thing". Ms. Jackie and everyone else was pretty cool and very very funny. I was still on edge about Monica. Everytime I look up she gives me this weird look and as bad as im trying to ignore it, its starting to bother me. We continued to talk and eat breakfast then the spotlight shinned on me.

"So Alana what do you do?". Jays uncle asked. He wanted me to call him by his first name which was strange but if its to get on hus good side so be it.

"Well I am a fashion designer for a company named Asche. I just got one of designs shown recently. Very unexpected but I was still thankful".

"Fashion huh? Need you to give my daughter a makeover, cant get her to open up and try a different style". Ms. Jackie said to me. I wouldnt mind, I love dressing up and im thinking about trying make up too so maybe her daughter could be someone I can test.

"How old is she?".

"15. I tried to pick some things out for her but she is as stubborn as I dont know what".

"She should be fine, I can see what I can do".

"Got kids?". Monica asked me. I didnt want to answer because I knew what she was doing but I honestly dont have anything to hide.

"Yes I have a son who is 14 his name is Kayden I had him myself, and I have my daughter Innocence she is 3 me and my ex adopted her when she was a baby".

"Thats nice. You ready to play step daddy Jay?". Monica said cutting up her food then eating it.

"Seriously? .. Dont start please". Uncle Kwane said to her shaking his head. Everyone must know she's a fiesty one but its cool cause I can take her.

"No no its cool unc. Look I knew about her son long time ago. Yall dont know this but me and Lana was together before all this and I love her son. He is a good kid and I havent been around for a while but thats cool with me cause I get to start over. So yes I am and im ready to meet her daughter too". Monica rolled her eyes and got up from the table and went upstairs. I dont know what her problem is but I know it couldnt have anything to do with me. I finished eating and it was almost time for us to check into the hotel so I decided to just go outside and wait in the car. 

"We'll it was really nice meeting you all, its actually almost time for us to check in. I will see you guys later". I got up and asked for the keys to the car and Jay handed them to me. I couldnt sit in there any longer because even though everyone else was nice, Monica really did get to me even when I tried to fight it off. Everyone said bye to me and I got in the elevator. I hope the rest of his sisters wasnt like her because if they are I dont know how im going to take all three at one time coming at me the way Monica did. I sat in the car playing on my phone and decided to call Kayden on facetime while I waited. I miss my babies and this is the first time ive been away like this so seeing him would make me feel a whole lot better.

"Wassup ma".

"Hey what are you doing".

"Going back home I just whooped Frankie in basketball not too long ago". He started laughing and his smile made me smile.

"Basketball? You going back to that?".

"Nah I mean I still like to play but just for fun though. Im not giving up baseball ma you must be crazy".

"Ok ok im just making sure. Where is your sister?".

"Well Drew came by and picked her up so her and Hailey can have a play date or whatever. Where are you? Did you make it?".
