It's International Artists day,
a time to celebrate
all those famous sculptors
and all of those who paint,
with St Catherine of Bologna
who is their patron saint.
International Artists Day was created by Chris MacClure, a Canadian artist whose style is known as Romantic Realism. He created this day to help the world celebrate the beauty and pleasure that art brings to the world. This can be in the form of ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, wood carving, dance, acting, graphic art, animation, architecture and many more.
