Since I'm living in Hotel Cortez's walls, I'm learning new things everyday.

It's a pretty crowded place, even when no guest is staying.

It's not a mystery, it's a dark place, filled up with dark people.


Some of them are Hunters, some of them are Preys.

And some others, they are the both things together.



Let's take hypodermic Sally, for example.

She's always looking for victims, but she's a victim herself.

Wasted by drugs all over, for eternity.


Iris.

She helps his son, Donovan, with his victims.

But she's herself one of them.


I could stay here all day listing the features of each of them, but, honestly, I don't know that much myself.

They live in a glass bell, you can only see what they want you to see.




I slowly open my eyes and rub it, as I let out a moan.

I'm so tired lately, I can't even rememer the last time I slept for more than 4-5 hours.


I wait for my blurry vision to come clean and look around.


Red armchairs and couch, that tend.

These furnitures, this smell.


Apparently, I'm in Room 64.




"Good morning ma'am" a familiar voice says, I soon smile with my eyes still closed.

I suddenly realize.

I must've slept here.


"Wait. Did I sleep here?" I ask sitting down, at least I still have my clothes on.


"I see no problem" he innocently says, "I didn't touch you not even with a finger if you're wondering" he adds.

"That's exactly what I was wondering, thank you" I ironically say with a small laugh, he chuckles.



A knock at the door soon breaks the atmospheare, I sigh and get up.

As James opens the door, I sit of the red couch.



"I will let her know" I hear him saying with a small nod, I glance at him as he gets closer.


"What's wrong?" I ask,

"Liz said that you friend is here" he says with an odd tone,
