"Does he know about all this?" I ask sighing, Liz weakly nods.

"Okay. Can you at least don't make anyone know that I'm here?" I ask again, another nod.

"Great"

John offered to drive me here and, after his shift, come back here to keep me safe. Like he could keep me safe. From what? Death? I'm over that. But I must admit that his presence calms me down, a lot. So I just nodded at him and thanked him for his caring and understanding.

I quickly run towards the elevator, walking in right before Elizabeth and Donovan reached the main hallway. I soon drop my back on the side, and let out a deep sigh of relief. I carefully reach the 5th floor and start walking. A child soon calls my attention. He's laying on a broken red chair in the middle of the corridor, I quickly reach him and lean down on my knees.

"You okay?" I quietly ask, he looks like one of the Countess' little kids victims. Same clothes, same light blond hair. He slowly looks up at me, shaking his head no.

"Are you thirsty?" I ask again as I quietly run my fingers in his soft hair, he nods.

"Alright, come here. Let's go get some blood for you" I whisper, grabbing him and carrying him in my arms through the long corridor.

A woman soon walks out of one of the rooms with a lamp on her hand. She quickly looks at me, waving and smiling.

"Can I help you?" I politely ask,

"Do you work here?" she asks back, I nod.

"This lamp won't work, can you take a quick look at it? Oh, is this little kid hurt or something?"

"Just thirsty" I say, grabbing the lamp.

"I can go get some water" she smiles as I quickly hit her head with the lamp. Blood soon starts flowing out in the whole corridor. I carefully let the kid go, as he soon starts drinking like crazy.

"Woah. You were thirsty indeed" I laugh,

"Thank you" he smiles with a cute little voice.

"What's your name, little man?"

"Charlie"

"Okay, Charlie. Would you like to help me out with my shift today? I can show you around and do funny things" I ask leaning down as he soon nods in excitement. I grab him again, carrying him in my arms as I reach the little room next to the elevator, that has the tools I need to work with, as a little silver cart and some plats and glasses.

"Can I sit on the cart?" he asks with a cute tone,

"Sure. Today you'll be my boss. What do we do first, Mr.Charlie?" I ask, causing him to brust into a sweet laughter.

"6th floor!" he yells, pointing at the stairs.

"Through the stairs?" I ask, raising an eyebrow,

"If she sees me she will make me come back to my coffin" he says, frowning.

"Alright then. I don't wanna be caught either, so let the stairs be" I say with a funny accent, he laughs.

In 30 minutes floor 6th, 7th and 8th are done. We're pretty fast together, I must admit it. I can see Charlie's eyes blinking, this must be his bedtime. I carefully carry him in my room, on my soft bed. He soon falls asleep, as I imagined. I lay down next to him, sighing a little with a weak smile, running my fingers on his hair carefully, trying not to wake him up.

"Sasha, I-" a voice suddenly says, I quickly hush him. He looks at me in confusion and then at the bed.

"Who's this kid?" John asks,

"He's just a new friend of mine" I smile.

He slowly walks closer, taking a closer look at Charlie.

"He looks a lot like Holden" he frowns,

"Yeah he does" I quietly say.

"Oh, hey, there was a man in the main hallway asking for you. I told him you were still at my place, is that a problem?" John asks as I walk towards the bathroom,

"Not at all. Thank you" I smile.

"Man, he was weird. He had this strong odd accent and dressed like a man from the 20s. People nowdays is so weird"

"Did he say something?"

"He just told me to look after you until I can, and he would've looked after you right after. Do you know him?"

"Right. Yeah, I do. He was the main reason I checked in actually. What a huge mistake, uh?"

"Love?" he asks, sounding like a gossip-thirsty teenager.

"I've recently found out he was married. I mean, I guess he still is even though they don't really talk anymore. And they have a child, that he probably doesn't know about"

"That's an hell of a story" he frowns,

"Yeah it is" I sadly sigh.

"Shouldn't you give him a chance to make things clear? I mean, maybe he's totally over her. Maybe he's so over her that that's why he didn't tell you he was married. Because he doesn't think as himself as a married man anymore" John suddenly says, causing me to gasp and look at him in confusion.

"Look, I've made a lot of mistakes with my family. My wife never gives me the chance to make myself clear to her. And things just fall apart" he adds, I can feel a lot of honesty in his words.

"Maybe I should" I sigh, "Give him the chance to make himself clear"

I quietly lay my eyes on Charlie again. These kids never get the chance to have some fun. They drink, sleep, drink, and sleep again. It must be awful. Yeah, they have their own game room, that's true. But videogames are not that fun, they're just there to entertain them. These kids need to have a little bit of more freedom, more fun, and, most of all, more love. They need love. Elizabeth won't stop saying how much she loves and bla, bla, bla. She will never understand what loving someone really means. Those kids don't even know what love is. Only Holden, maybe. Now that his mother, Alex, joined them too.

Wait. If Alex is Holden's mother than it means that she's also John's wife. How couldn't he notice that she's never home? Right, he works a lot. What about their other child, their daughter Scarlett. Is she always left alone? Shouldn't someone do something about that? Shouldn't her mother want to be with her as well?
