"Will you join us for dinner tonight?" Liz asks bringing me back to reality, I slowly take my eyes off my phone and glance up at him.

"I told March so" I just say.

I look at the clock, 6pm.

"It's at 9pm" he soon says with a small smile,

"I'd better go now then. I have a couple of things I need to take care of before it gets too late" I smile back, showing a small smirk.

"Don't you use room 78" he just says with the most natural tone ever, I softly smile again.

I don't know what's about these people but they always seem like understanding and protecting me.

I've never really had protection in my life, not even understanding, nor love.

It's all so new to me.

Apart of the fact that I'm killing way too much lately.

This place is contaminating my soul.

As the elevator stops at the second floor, a guy walks in.

"Sasha. You look-"

"Dead? Almost. A nurse saved me just in time" I smile.

"I was about to say tired but, geez. What happened? I bet it was that guy"

"Nah, he would never hurt me. I did it myself" I say with another smile, like it was the most normal thing in the world.

"He did hurt me. What does he make you think he won't do the same with you?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.

"I've been wandering in this Hotel since months now. If he wanted to kill me he would've done it a long time ago. Same for you, you're lucky"

"Lucky? He punched me in the face!" he whines,

"You're still alive I see" I glance up at him with a serious expression, I see his expression going from relaxed to confused, to scared.

The elevator soon stops at the ground floor, I walk out without another word.

I quickly reach the phone of the mail hallway and dial my aunt's number.

She picks the call up right away.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Sasha. I've heard you found a job out of town and you won't be traceble for a couple of months or so. Wanna come and greet me before leaving? I'm staying at Hotel Cortez" I say with a persuasive tone,

"Why not, I'll be there in 5 minutes. My bus will leave in 20 minutes from LAX, next to the rental car building"

"I'm on your road's way, I see. It will only take you a little time. Coming alone?"

"I'll call a taxi to get there and then another one to get to the bus station" she says with a calm tone,

"Perfect" I smirk.
