Chapter 63

A dinner followed after, right there at the beach. It was a lay back type of wedding, the cool breeze from the ocean, the sunset that filled the place as they celebrate a union of two lovers who shared an abundant love for each other- the day couldn't be more perfect than it already is.

Everybody was having fun...but not as much as Elena. It was beyond her wildest dream to have a surprise wedding! She was expecting that they'd plan it together but what it is now is just perfect!

ELENA'S POV

As she sits by Alejandro's side and smiling at all well wishers as the people from the Amanpulo catering serves their food, Elena's thoughts fly back again to that very moment when she heard...

"And you may now kiss the bride..."

As soon as I hear those words, although I was literally trembling and floating- I wanted to pinch myself and make sure this wasn't just a dream.

"I am a REAL bride! I am his wife now! For real! It wasn't just a photoshoot or video- Alejandro is my husband! I can't believe it!" she feels like shouting it, instead she swallowed once as she looks straight at Alejandro's eyes.

She smiled at him, she can see his eyes glistening just like hers are.

Was he teary eyed? I squeezed his hand, he squeezed back as he slowly moved his face to me- I can smell his nice perfume, his freshly shaved smell...I inhaled his nice,manly scent- my husband. I closed my eyes and waited for his lips to touch mine. When it did, I heard him whisper.."I love you Elena,my wife..." I smiled and opened my eyes as he claimed my lips. Our first kiss as husband and wife.

It was pure bliss and love- the beginning of many more blissful kisses in marriage.

We felt like it was just the two of us, his kisses stopped- I hesitated to let him go but then we heard hands clapping.

We were still in our own wedding- honeymoon can wait later tonight.

Alejandro held me close, his arms around me, his fingers tapping on the slim of my waist.

I welcomed his warmth around me as I always did.

We looked at each other one mpre time before we turned around and faced everybody, showing our rings!

WE ARE MARRIED!

We heard congratulations from our family and friends, smiles and happy faces around us.

I saw at the corner of my eyes my family, they were there all smiling my Mother teary eyed, and I am glad it was because of happiness. I mouthed I love you on their direction, my Mother nodded and my sister and my brothers silently smiled.

This day was just perfect!

An unexpectedly nice surprise- my own wedding I didn't have a clue about!

Alejandro is the sweetest ever! He always thought about the greatest surprises, but this surprise outweighed everything else!

Elena's thoughts were interrupted when she felt Alejandro squeezing her hand, his lips on her cheek.

"Babe...are you happy?"  he asked as he kissed my cheeks again.

I looked at him welcoming the kiss.

I smiled.

"Of course I am happy! It was a lovely suprise Alejandro! Hindi mo lang alam while they were fixing my gown and doing my make up that I kept wishing that it is really my wedding...our wedding.."  I said and that made Alejandro smile. His face lit up hearing it from her.

He squeezed my hands again and said, "I am glad babe...I am just glad..I can't wait for that LATER.."  he teased me.

I blushed as my thought flew to the meaning of that, "later," deep inside I am excited for it, too. Alejandro was true to his word, that he really wanted to wait for the right time. And tonight is that right time.

I squeezed his hand back and met his lips when we heard the guests started to make a sound using their spoons on the glasses...and shouting, "Kiss...Kiss"

And yes, we obliged. That we did.

We kissed. And then kissed. 

That for sure we won't get tired of- kissing each other that is. For my lips are his, and his, mine.
