Crazy for You (COMPLETED)

Chapter 21: " Moments.."

Alejandro woke up early around six thirty in the morning and reviewed all the documents he need to present to the board. The meeting is scheduled at nine. He took a shower, shaved, didn't even bother with a cup of coffee since Pam can prepare it for him. He whistled as he looked at his reflection once more in the mirror. He smiled and adjusted his tie.

With his keys in hand and his briefcase, he went out and locked his condo and headed towards the parking level.

He texted Elena before he started the car:

I will be there tonight, ok? I hope you're ok. See you.

He started his car and gently maneuvered the car out of the building, heading towards his office.

He said good morning to the guard on duty and walked inside the elevator.

"Good morning, Pam. I'm glad you're early,too. Are we ready for today?" he said as he passed by Pam's desk.

She smiled, "Yes, we're ready. Coffee?" she asked.

"Yes, please. Thanks Pam," he placed his briefcase on top of his desk and took off his coat.

He waited for Elena's reply, but she didn't reply. She is probably still sleeping.

Pam came in with a cup of coffee in hand and placed it on his table.

"The conference room is ready, all the documents are there, in a folder so they can follow your report later," she said.

"Perfect, Pam! Thanks a lot," he said to her and tried the coffee.

Pam nodded and went back to her desk.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Elena was still sleeping at the bench her head on her arms folded over her knees bent up. She was awakened by the buzzing of her phone.

She slowly opened her eyes and lazily took her phone out. A text message. She reads it, it was from Alejandro.

She shook her head. Ang aga naman nyang mag-text. She thought.

She stood up and asked one of the nurses how her mother is and if there is a schedule for her operation later.

One of the nurses told her to just wait for Dr. Perez when he checks in. She said thank you.

Elena walked out of the waiting area and headed over to where there was a vending machine and got a bottle of water. She can use a cup of coffee but she will get it later on. She wants to go home first but she didn't want to go yet, unless she talks to Dr. Perez first.

When she went back to her seat, Dr. Perez is talking to one of the nurse who was pointing at her direction. He nodded and walked towards her. Instead of sitting, she remain standing and waited for him to approach her.
