Crazy for You (COMPLETED)

Chapter 17 : "Texting.."

"Nanlalambot, nag-aalala, natatakot..oo yon ang nararamdaman ko ngayon..buti na lang may savings akong panggasta sa ospital..pero pag naubos yon paano? Hindi bale ang mahalaga maging okay si Inay...mahahanap ko rin ang perang kakailanganin pa namin...Dios ko tulungan nyo po ako..." Elena silently thought and prayed.

She looked at Joanna who is also evidently worried,"Jo...umuwi ka na muna, ako na muna dito pero bumalik ka mamya bago ako pumasok ha?" She gave her money for taxi and told her to buy food for dinner.

"Ikaw na muna bahala mag-explain kina Miguel..sabihin mo wag mag-alala masyado," she added, Joanna nodded and gave her a quick hug as she stood up and went to go back home.

Elena was left alone at the waiting area. She asked one of the nurses where the chapel is.

As she was walking towards the chapel her phone buzzed.

It was a message from Alejandro.

"Hi..it's me, Alejandro.Is it ok if I call you?"

She smiled, she would love to talk to someone, especially right now but she is heading towards the chapel and she won't have time to talk.

She quickly sent him a reply:

Hi..sorry ha.Nasa ospital kc ako, puede next tym n lng?

She hit send.

She quickly got a response.

Ha? Are you ok? You need anything? I can go there to see you? Let me know pls.

She smiled again, "Akala nya siguro kung napano na ako...affected ba sya kung sakali? Nakakalito lang sya..." She find his worried text amusing. Between what happened to her with him a while ago and worrying about her mother, he lightens up the heavy feeling she has.

No..ok lng ako. Nanay ko. Wag n ok lng nmn.pero salamat.

She sent.

He replied:

Ok. R u sure? Im here if ever u need help- trust me.

She didn't reply anymore and turned her phone in silent mode as she went inside the chapel and sat infront of the altar to pray.

She looked around, it was just her alone. The statue of the crucified Christ lay atop the altar. His face doesn't show any pain but concern even his being crucified is physically more painful.

Elena often wonders how could Jesus be so selfless and forgiving- but of course Anak sya ng Diyos o sya ang tagapagligtas natin, her mother always tells her. Although not really religious and practicing being a Catholic, Elena believes in God, without her faith she probably would have given up on life- what with all the trials their family suffered, from the moment their father died, when her mother was diagnosed with lung cancer and now this emergency with her.

Sometimes, it is hard to be strong, but Elena thought- some people got it worse, some doesn't even have parents, some not even allowed to be born , robbed of life and killed. She doesn't have the right to question God about these things but she often wonders how He feels about the evil things happening on earth? Why does He allow them to happen?

Looking at Him on the cross, she prays silently..asking Him to make their family strong at this trying time, hoping her Mother go through this time and make it, survive.

Meanwhile, after Alejandro met with Franco he wonders about Elena. She was funny and forgiving after his punishing kiss.

He smiled- he can still feel the softness of her lips against him, she was so sweet. He loved the feeling of her against him.

He stopped himself, "What am I feeling? Am I nuts? " he thought..his other side says..."Yeah man, you are nuts! Nuts about her!" He shook his head. Why would he? He knows she is beautiful, sexy, funny--- but he doesn't know anything else about her aside from the fact that she is a dancer!!

Well there's nothing wrong with being a dancer except that other men are feasting their eyes on her,too! He better do something about it! Maybe he can offer her a job in his company? No, he thought! I don't want her to be the center of gossip if my employees find out where she came from? How about offer her to be his companion? Well..not a bad idea..but what kind of companion? She might think of it differently!

Alejandro kept thinking...and suddenly his eyes lit up.

He took his phone and sent her a message hoping she will reply.

"Hi..it's me, Alejandro.Is it ok if I call you?

He waited for her response eagerly and then his phone buzzed, he opened it:

Hi..sorry ha.Nasa ospital kc ako, puede next tym n lng?

He panicked, suddenly worried. He typed another message and sent it. Hoping silently that she is okay.

Ha? Are you ok? You need anything? I can go there to see you? Let me know pls.

He waited and then his phone buzzed..

No..ok lng ako. Nanay ko. Wag n ok lng nmn.pero salamat.

He sighed with relief but felt bad when he knew it was still someone she loves:

Ok. R u sure? Im here if ever u need help- trust me.

He waited for a reply but got nothing. He was worried about her but thought she is probably busy with her mother now.

Unable to get back to finalizing his presentation for the Merger meeting tomorrow, he turned the tv on as he poured himself another glass of water.

His meeting with Franco, although he got mad a little because he showed up very late, was fruitful, enough for him to have a final take on the merger and finalize the agreements so his board can approve it.

The meeting will be tomorrow, Alejandro thought and here he is busy thinking of a woman.

He checked if there was any message from maiden24. Nothing. She is probably busy,too. He sighed. Still worried about Elena. He wants to see her again and offer her something, something that will make her quit her job and for him to know her better.

She has something about her that he can't figure out. He likes her so much that he doesn't care if she is a dancer, he doesn't care how many men she might have gone to bed with, how many boyfriends she had or what her job is! All he cares about is getting her out of that club and he wants to do it fast- even if it means he has to lie.
