Something has to be done, or more like this, something must be able to help me get loose. Or even better, something must break loose handle. I run through the list of things that could be useful , checking off the ones I have already checked. As I gaze around the car. Then it occurre to me that you often need things you don't expect to need. Expect the weird stuff. That's the second first thing I learned when Voight "hired" me for the first time, the first thing I learned was that he is the boss; no matter what.

From the beginning I actually believed in that, but now it's hard to always agree with his decitions. But still, he's the one who gave me a future, he's my hero. A hero is nothing like hollywood promised me. Voight taught me how to be tough, how to speak in the convincing language and how to fire a gun. I followed him to the shooting range, he gave me rides to work. He was working long hours to put food on the table and now when I've thought on it there's a hero in almost every one of us, except for me though.

Still I'm in my toughts, thinking of what an ass I must have been to Voight, when I realize there's some that some of the sticks in the hedge is thick enough to not break if I bend the handle open. Quick actions is what I need.I look for the thickest stick I can find in the hedge, and break it loose. I put it down in the handle and bend, until one pard comes loose from the car. Oh my fudging ass, neither Voight or Jay are going to be very happy about this, I can count on paying for this.

Something I already know is that the car in unlocked, and so is the trunk. Do you want to know what is in the trunk? I can tell you, guns and ammo.

But then I see the guy running past me, he probably got held up by something because otherwise he would have passed ages ago. Close behind him I can see Jay, so there goes plan A. I have to skip the gun for this time, but Jay has one and that is enough; probably.

I start to run, oh I miss this, even though this is my first time. When I'm around the corner I'm pretty close to Jay, I'm only about 100 feet behind him. I make sure to be vigilant, it's important not to miss anything. I especially listen carefully, so far no one seems to have discovered me, and so far all goes well.

I'm running as quickly as my long legs can carry me, bolting down the alley way like an Olympic champion at the start gun; quickening my pace to an all out sprint. The pounding noise of my winter boots resonating off the walls of the alley with a clanging echo that matches my heart throbbing inside my chest with the thick grief and I feel warmth inside, that's when I realize how cold I am.
