I'm sitting at my desk, scrolling through files and trying to find something that could help us find out what's going on. The files are boring, all of them are mostly the same and contain the same information but sometimes you find something you haven't read before that could be useful and that's why you read all the files. I would like to describe this situation like I'm bored of being bored because being bored is boring, yeah, that's exactly how I feel.

"Jay" Erin says and I wake up from my thoughts. I realize that I've been staring out in the air and been completely out of contact.

"These files are exactly the same" I say to protect myself because I almost fell asleep.

"I agree" Ruzek says.

I look at my screen and then at my paperwork, I look at all the different pages and I realize that all information comes from the same point of view. All information comes from the good side, most of the files are rapports from cops and some are from witnesses. Only a few bits and pieces are from The Shadows. But I mean, The Shadows never leave anything behind and neither do they talk or get caught, so we should be happy about the little information we have about them and the case.

"It's like we need information from another point of view" I say.

"We could always ask Jen" Erin says

I nod to Erin and she turn around on her chair and pokes on Jen's shoulder, she has headphones on so she didn't hear anything about what we said. Erin says something to Jen and she get up and sit down on the edge of Erin's desk.

"Okay, this can get a bit messy because I suck at explaining but I'll do my best" She take a breath "So The Shadows is a group of people brought together by Cal. The other three members have all chosen to be a part of the group, I'm the only one who didn't choose, at least at the beginning" She say but she stop.

I can see that Jen is ashamed. I know she regret that she stayed in that group.

"Anyways, the requirements for being a part of this, not to mention well payed group, you need to know your body. You need to have a good body control, be strong and overall be good at parkour because it's what The Shadows do. We use parkour to easily access places we want to rob and we use parkour to escape in a smooth way. Everyone are present at the robberies but everyone has a certain role–"

"What was yours?" Al cut her of.

"I took care of the preparations, picked up cars, bought burner cells and stuff like that. Theo was our shooter, the only person with a gun but when he and I left I guess Jessie became the shooter and Peyton remained as runner, the person taking care of whatever we stole. But I don't know if Cal has invited more people to his group or not"

"What was, or is the purpose?" I ask.

"For the members, money, and for Cal, even more money" she reply.

"Other than that, often we helped Cal with his own business. Killing people, kidnapping people, talk some sense into people and beat them up" Jen says.

"Did you do that?" Ruzek ask.

"I didn't kill and neither did I kidnap, I don't think you want to know more than that" she reply.

A/n this was a really messy one and I don't really know if I should like it or not but I needed a "filler" so hope you liked it anyways and have a good week!
