"Hey!" A familiar voice screams, it's April.
I drop the baton but no matter that she run to me, grab me by the arms and pull me away from the officer. This is where Dr. Choi also enters and grab one arm to hold me back, to help April; it takes two to calm me down. Shorty, Maggie enters and help the officer up. No matter his bloody face, he states he's okay and leave the scene and I see how he walks toward the exit. No way he's a real cop.
"Do you mind telling me what's going on?" She asks angrily.
"He-" I say but I have to take a couple of breaths because I got breathless of the anger and fighting "He called me spoiled brat" I continue, sounding like that gave me the full right to hit the man.
"What happened?" Dr. Rhodes asks, coming running into the room.
"She took down the officer" Maggie says.
He sighs disappointedly at me.
"Could you all close your ears for a minute?" He ask, meaning that whatever they hear will stay in this room.
"Done" April says and the others are nodding.
"The hell Jennifer?! You can't do that, you just- you can't do that" He says.
I sigh "When did you get the right to speak to me like that?" I ask cocky.
He looks at his watch and then back at me "3 hours, 48 minutes and 5 seconds ago when Voight called me and asked me to be your guardian since something very important crossed his path" He replies.
April and Dr. Choi let go of me, I get back into the bed and both of them, with Maggie as well return to their jobs as Rhodes stay. He will give me a lecture for sure.
"Are you insane?" He ask. "Why would it even cross your mind to beat up an officer? He ask.
"Don't you get it? He was no officer! He belongs to a criminal assemble called 'The Shadows' and was here with one task only, to put me further down into the shit" I say.
"Exactly what happened?" He ask.
"Erin came here and then left in such a hurry that I knew something was going on, and they didn't want me to know about it because I would try to escape from here. I was indeed about to escape from here when the officer started to tease me. And..." I say but stop mid sentence because I realize I was about to admit something.
"And?" He asks.
"Forget it, anyways after tha-" I say but get interrupted.
"No, I want no 'forget that', tell me the truth" he say.
I sigh "and since I hadn't taken my meds in awhile his teasing was enough to make me angry"
