ALEXIS

On her way to school she decided she will just ignore Lucas as much as possible. She didn't know why she was reacting to him so strongly. They had just walked in the parking lot when Kara came bouncing towards her and dragged in a hug. 'Hey,'

'Um hi. What's up?' Alexis had no social skills she didn't know how to act around this happy person. She was dressed in floral shorts with a white top and matching slippers and bag. Jake was standing beside her looking on, she probably should introduce him. 'Kara, this is Jake. Jake Kara is in my art class.' Jake said hi with a small smile.

'I know those guys so I'll talk to you later. See ya.' Jake said quickly and hurried off to a group of guys who look like they were on the school's football team. She turns back to Kara to find her staring at her strangely. 'What?'

'Nothing. Come on, let's go meet my friends,' before Alexis could stop her, she had already pulled her over to the same group of people from the table yesterday. It kind of creep her out the way they all stared at her.

'Guys, this is Alexis. Alexis meet Xavier,' to her surprise he grabbed her up in a hug. A deep blush graced cheeks as she stared at him. He had deep brown hair with matching brown eyes and he was really tall just a few inches below Lucas. 'That is Marcus and his ma-girlfriend Selene' Marcus had is arm around his girlfriend who was not as tall as the other girls. The last one she introduced as Javier, he had black hair and blue eyes and his girlfriend, Lily, has strawberry coloured hair. All the girls look like super models and she felt self-conscious. She said hi to everyone, they all seem very friendly, happy to meet her even. Why they seem happy to meet her was beyond her.

'I heard we are getting an art project the next class and we will be placed in groups. I hope I get to be partner with you.' Kara said excitedly.

Alexis didn't know what to think, she liked Kara a lot, and she didn't understand why she wanted to be friends with her. 'Why? Why do you want me as your friend? Didn't you have any before I came here?' The words left her mouth before she could stop them and he watched as her smile fell and she saw the hurt in her eyes. Oh crap, she didn't mean anything by it. 'Kara...'

'I'm sorry; I didn't know you didn't want to be friends. I won't bother you anymore.' Kara said and took off before Alexis could say anything. She just watched her go so shock to do anything else. Great Alexis, now you screwed up with a potential best friend. About to go after her, she felt someone came up behind her and to the way her body was reacting she knew it was Lucas.

'Why did you have to be such a bitch to my sister? She was just being nice,' Lucas snarled at her. She turned around and looked up in his hard eyes, then all the memories from last night came flooding her memory. She suddenly felt light headed as desire pooled in her stomach causing her heart to beat harder and faster. With face red as tomato, she slowly backed away from him afraid he might hear the pounding of her heart. Before she could escape however, he grabbed her arm and held on tightly. She gasped as the sudden electricity flowing up her arm causing pleasure to her nether regions. She wanted to move in his arms

'Where do you think you’re going?' He all but growled at her. Wariness took over her, her desire forgotten at the sound of his harsh voice. 'My sister has been nothing but nice to you and you practically told her you didn't want to be friends.'

'That was not what I meant and if you hadn't shown up I would have gone and apologized already. And how dare you call me a bitch,' Alexis didn't know she was shouting until she looked around to see everyone staring at them. Suddenly a girl came over and put her arm around Lucas. She was tall, skinny with blonde hair and a perfect face, she was beautiful, and everything Alexis wasn't. 'Hey baby. Is this fat ass bothering you? Get rid of her because I have something for you,' Alexis felt every sting of her words, it cut right through her. She was not fat! She thought indignantly, but that did not stop the tears from forming in her eyes. But she would rather die than let her see how much her words hurt.
