'You look fine love and there is no need to be nervous.' Lucas told her for the millionth time. They were in his car in the school's parking lot for fifteen minutes now because Alexis refuse to come out of the car. Lucas found her amusing as he watched her wring her hands in different directions. He could feel her anxiety rolling off in waves. She was dressed in one of his Ts-nothing Kara had could fit her- and a pair of jeans that had refused to button up. He had been so caught up that he didn't even remember to get some of her clothes, though he doubt they would even fit. He would have to take her shopping soon.

'People are going to stare and judge me. Just look at my belly.' She almost shouted at him.

Taking her hand in his he turned her to face him 'Look baby, yes they are going to stare and some might judge but you know what? I'm going to be there every step of the way and don't you dare be ashamed of that belly, my babies are in there.'

He kissed her before her and getting out to open the door for her. He helped her out and waited patiently for her to fix her clothes, brushing down and straightening the blue t-shirt, making sure that it covered her unbutton pants. 'Aren’t people going to wonder why my stomach is so...huge?'

'It's none of their business, but  if someone happens to ask tell them that we were having sex from the moment you came her and had gotten pregnant months ago. You can tell them you were just covering it up. It will also help if you mention you’re having triplets.' He held her hand as they walked into the school.

'That is so not going to work. I wouldn't buy it if it was someone else.' she told him wearily.

'What else is there to believe? There is no other possible explanation for your fast developing baby. Werewolves don't exist remember?'

'Fine.' She snapped at him, making him laugh. Giving her a reassuring kiss he opened the school door. The bell hadn't ring yet, they still had a couple minutes to get to class so students were still in the hall way. And Alexis was right, they all stopped and stared at them-well at Alexis stomach. She paused hesitantly and squeezed his hand for dear life. 'Baby, it's just you and me, no one else matters.' She gave him a nervous smile before she started walking again.

'Well seem like the slut is knocked up, I bet it's not even his.' he heard someone say from his right and before he could think he had the girl up by her upper arms.

'What did you say?! Say anything bad about her again and I will make your life a living hell.' He let her go and she fell on the floor before walking away, pulling Alexis behind him.

The fucking ass, why did she have to come and piss him off? He didn’t even think and second guess his action when he saw that it was a girl. He heard a strangled cry from behind him and stopped dead in his tracks. He cursed silently when he saw his mate bent over and trying to catch her breath. He hadn't even realized he was moving so fast. 'Are you okay love?'

'I'm not a wolf; I can't keep up with you when you walk like that. You were practically dragging me behind you...' He lifted her in his arms and he smiled when she sighed tiredly and lay against his shoulder. 'Did you know the girl didn't say what he said out loud?'

Lucas stared at her in confusion 'What are you talking about?'

'I was listening very carefully to what everyone was saying and I know you heard too. Oh and you can't go threatening everyone who say bad stuff about me...'

'Wanna bet?'

She only glared at him 'Anyway as I was saying, that girl. didn't talk out loud I think you read his mind or is that a normal wolf thing no one told me about?'

Lucas stared at her in shock, she couldn't be right could she? 'No she spoke out loud and how did you know what he said if he didn't speak loud? Am I to assume you can 'read thoughts’ too?'
