Alexis rolled over in bed lazily, she open her eyes but had to close them again against the bright rays of the sun. She reached for Lucas but as usual he wasn't there. Why does he keep leaving her in bed? She would have liked to cuddle in the mornings. Oh wait, she was upset with him. The jerk had spanked her like an errant child. She might have been aroused by it but he didn't have to treat her like a baby. Rolling over on her back, she winced when the fabric rubbed against her bottom.
She was going to kill him. Getting up out of bed she dressed in one of her sweat pants and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. When she was finish with the necessities, she ran down stairs.
She could here all kinds of commotion in the living room and she knew the guys were playing video games. About to head in there her stomach choose that moment to growl hungrily at her, reminding her she should probably eat something. Turning directions she went in the kitchen and saw three guys she didn't know and they all broke out in smiles when they saw her. Okay? 'Um hello, good morning'
'Hello.'
'Hi.'
'Good morning.' They all responded. It looked like they were all just sitting there talking and she didn't know what to do. 'I'm Joe.' The one with the dark brown hair said. 'That is Deon and Max.' Deon had sandy blonde hair with blue eyes and Max had short cropped hair with brown eyes. All three guys seem really built like they went to the Jim regularly and they seemed to be in their early twenties.
'I'm Alexis, friend of Kara's and...'
'Lucas' girlfriend. We know you belong to Lucas.' Max smiled and she felt comfortable in an instant with that warm smile. She moved to the Island and sat down for a minute. Before she knew it they were talking and laughing about nothing and everything. For guys that seem so tough, they were big teddy bears on the inside...well except for Joe. He seemed a bit reclusive and shy but it didn't take long for him to warm himself into the conversation.
Deon was now on the floor mimicking a monkey dance Max had done at a party once. He had a leg up in the air and was making monkey sound. It had her cracking up, they were so funny. Her belly decided to growl...again and all three guys looked at her making her blush with embarrassment. How they heard it over all the noise Deon was making was beyond her.
'How insensitive of us, what would you like for breakfast?' Max asked looking sheepish. Deon came up off the floor then and he and Joe set about the kitchen placing pancake mix, bacon and eggs on the counter.
They want to make her breakfast? 'Oh no, don't worry about it. I'll do it, you guys want or did you already eat?' She realized it was some minutes after ten and they would probably ate already.
'Ah sure,' Joe said and the others nodded. After that she went about making breakfast for them as they talked about the area they lived. She could hear how fond they were about the place how peaceful it all seemed. She knew it was peaceful here, the place oozed comfort and calls to you to relax. The boys...well men continue with their antics and she smiled at them.
An hour later she had stacks of pancakes, beacon and scrabbled egg. She had made a lot in case anyone wants refills and she was right, by the time she was finished with hers everything was gone. The boys had eaten it all.
'You didn't think to leave a plate for me?' Her head snap around when she heard Lucas' voice came from the door way. He was dressed in a washed out blue jeans and white T-shirt with old boots. He looked like he has been walking from morning. Where the hell has he been? She finally looked at his face and saw bags under his eyes. She noticed that the guys had left quietly when Lucas came in. 'I thought you would have eaten already, I'll make a plate for you.
