'I have to go; I'll see you at school tomorrow okay?' Alexis didn't wait for him to answer. She jumped out of the car and as she was about to dash up the drive way she felt him grab her arm.

'Why are you so afraid and why don't you introduce me to your step-dad?' He asked pulling her with him towards her house. Panic takes up a permanent resident in her chest and she try to stop him but he kept on telling her that it was okay. In truth and in fact it was not okay, Jack would have her head for this. 'Lucas...please, Jack doesn't know that I spend the weekend at your house. He's going to go crazy. Just leave okay, I'll see you tomorrow.' He was looking at her strangely but she couldn't tell what he was thinking.

'Are you going to open the door or should I knock?' Sighing with defeat she moved pass him and unlock the door. Her heart was beating ten miles per hour and unconsciously she held on tight to Lucas' hands. She paused and listen for any sound then a whooping sound came from the living room. 'Jake?'

'In here.' She heard him called and hurried over there pulling Lucas with her. When she came around the corner she saw that the living room was filled with four guys. Jake and Josh, a guy she worked with at the Diner were playing video games. The others were sprawled out on the couch nursing a beer. 'Hey there, how was your weekend? And I thought Kara was bringing you home.' Jake asked coming up to hug her.

Alexis couldn't explain the relief she felt that Jack wasn't here and Jake seem to know what she was thinking. 'She wasn't feeling well so Lucas offered to drop me off.' Jake was eyeing Lucas suspiciously before he went back to his seat. She couldn't help but laugh at his behaviour.

'Oh by the way, those are my friends. I play football with them down by the community centre. Guys my cousin Alexis and her...friend Lucas' Jake said before turning back to his game. He couldn't keep away from that thing.

'Hey gorgeous, I'm Sean.' He had dark brown hair that seemed full with hair gel with matching brown eyes. She felt Lucas stiffen behind her before his huge hands circle her waist, obviously stalking his claim. She had to smile at his possessiveness, 'Nice to meet you Sean.'

'Well I can see the lady is already taken. I'm Gus by the way.' The other guy introduced himself giving her a charming smile in the process. He had shocking red hair paired with hazel colour eyes. He was cute but nothing close to her Lucas 'Nice to meet you.'

She turned around and looked up at Lucas to see him glaring daggers at the boys. 'So, I'll see you tomorrow?'

'I'm not going anywhere; I think I might stay for a while.' She frowned at him not sure why he was staring at her so intensely. 'What? Do you want me to leave so you can be with these other guys? Do you like how they stare at you with lust?' Lucas whispered angrily. To say she was shocked by his words was an understatement. He was staring at her angrily and she moved away from him but he only follow. Next thing she knew she was pressed up against him with his lips only a breath away from hers. 'You are mine.' And with that his lips devoured hers into a deep intense kiss, it wasn't sweet and soft. It was rough and his lips demand that she meet his passion with her own, it was a kiss filled with possessiveness and dominance and she loved every minute of her.

When he broke the kiss he stared at her with intensity leaking from his eyes and she knew then that she belonged to him. She could almost jump at the thought, yes she was finally his and he was finally hers. 'I'm going to get your bag from the car, why don't you go and get something to eat.' She could only nod before he release his grip on her and after sending the sending Sean and Gus a glare he left to get her bags. She hadn't even realized she didn't have it.

No way was he letting her stay here with those guys. It pissed him off greatly to see them staring at her body in such a fashion, even though he couldn't stop it, he should be the only one to do that. He got her bag and went back inside. When he reached the living room he saw that Alexis wasn't there so he sat down in an empty arm chair and watch the car racing game Jake was playing. He was aware that Sean and Gus were staring at him so he turned his head to glare at them. 'Can I help you?'

'You are one possessive dude. Jake told us about you and how you beat up one of his buddies, Liam?' One of them, Gus he guess, said with a huge grin. He couldn't help but grin back, he felt Gus was a cool dude and his wolf didn't feel like scraping his eyes out. Sean on the other hand...

'I didn't beat him up; just punch him in the face. I don't take kindly to someone trying take what's mine.' He said with deadly intent.

Jake turn around to glare at him, 'I don't like how you talk about my cousin like some kind of property.' He said 'I can't understand you, you don't like my cousin, yet you're possessive over her.'

'You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Who said I don't like her?'

'Well you have a funny way of showing it. If you hurt her I will kill you.' He warned

Lucas only stare at him, he couldn't fault him from wanting to protect his cousin. 'You could try. But for your information I'm not going to hurt her.' He went back to play his game then. Alexis came in the room a couple minutes later wearing a shorts and tank top that was showing too much of her chest. 'No way, go and change. That shorts is too short and too much of your chest is showing.' It didn't surprise him when she didn't listen. She only gave him a small smile accompanied with a glare and went to sit down next to Sean. 'Don't you dare. Come here.'

'And where should I sit?' She asked making her way to him still.

'Where you have been sitting all weekend.' He told her and signal for her to sit astride his lap. She cuddled up to him, lie on his chest and bury her face in his neck. He hugged her to him and press his face in her hair, she smelt so good. Before he closed his eyes he saw the guys smiling at them. 'Did you eat?' He whispered softly.

'Yeah, Jake had ordered pizza. There is more in the kitchen, do you want a slice? I could get it for you,'

'No babe, I'm okay. I'm too comfortable right now.' They stayed like that for a while and it was the most content Lucas had ever felt, his wolf was sighing happily. Alexis was nuzzling his neck and if she didn't stop soon he was going to lose it. His phone vibrating in his pocket and he stand up with Alexis legs wrapped around his waist to remove it from his pocket. She only squealed in surprise before snuggling back into him. Taking out his phone he saw that it was his mom calling 'Mom?'

He heard her talking to someone before she came back to him 'Rouges are attacking. I don't think you are needed, Xavier said there wasn't much so they can handle it. Just though I might let you know.' His mom told him. His body tense up immediately at the information. He trusted Xavier and knew that he could handle it if he said he could but he wouldn't be able to relax without knowing his pack was okay and safe. He talk some more with his mom to see what else she could tell him.

Alexis listen to the one sided conversation between Lucas and his mom and by the seconds he became more tense. His body was rigid and she took her face out of his neck to look at his face. 'What's wrong?' But he just shook his head at her. Finally he hangs up the phone before looking at her with regret. 'You have to go don't you?'

'Yeah, I'll pick you up for school tomorrow, be ready for me.' He told her before setting her on her feet. She didn't want him to leave and sighing unhappily she walked him to the door. 'Is everything okay?'

He ran his hands through his thick hair, something she noticed he did when he was frustrated. 'Yeah just something I need to take care of. I'll see you tomorrow okay baby?' He bent down and kissed her roughly.

'Okay see you tomorrow.' She waved goodbye before closing the door. She suddenly felt empty at his absence. Telling the Jake and the others bye she went upstairs. She didn't feel like socializing anymore. She can't believe how much she missed him already. Things had changed so much over just the weekend and she welcomed it. She was happy that they were finally having a good relationship and she loved it. Lying in her bed she couldn't wait to see him tomorrow.
