Lucas listen to every word Alexis told Jake and had to keep his control.
'Lucas calm down'
'Calm down!'
'Think about what will happen after!’ Lily, Marcus, Xavier, Becca and the others kept repeating in his head. What the fuck was Jaxon doing watching his mate? He wants me Jake, that’s what Alexis had said and he could hear the terror in her voice, she was scared shitless of him. And the mere fact that she didn't want him to touch her only strengthen his belief that Alexis knew Jaxon was bad. And fuck, he knew it too but his hands were tied. It drove him crazy that he couldn’t help her.
If he ever think he was putting his hands on her, he had a next guess coming
'Maybe he just wants a reaction out of you.' Xavier suggested. He thought about it for a minute and looked over at Jaxon speaking to Alison and the twins about the town. Jaxon kept looking at him and back at the group and he knew that’s what he wanted. He wanted to see how he would react to what Alexis had said. He will beat him at his own fucking game. Walking over there he made sure that he gave nothing away. 'Stop going to the Diner. I don't want you causing any trouble for any of the town people around here.'
'I didn't do anything. She is just a crazy bitch who thinks too high of herself. I mean really who would want her and she's pathetic to think that I would want her.' He said eying him closely, he was hoping for a reaction but Lucas wasn't going to give him one. Underneath though he was stewing he wanted to slowly tear his arms and legs off so he could feel everything then he would finally rip his head off.
Lucas forced himself to shrug casually. 'You're freaking her out, stop bothering her.' He walked off, like nothing was bothering him. 'Oh and Jaxon, that is an order.'
'You forget that you're not my alpha Lucas.' He replied with a smirk. Lucas could tell that he was angry with his no care attitude.
'I know, you however seem to forget that you are on my land. If you can't follow my orders feel free to leave. Break my orders and you won't have that option. It would do you well not to get on my bad side. The people of this town are under my protection and if anyone of you causes any problems for them, you will be dismissed immediately.' He felt their fear except for Jaxon who remain in control of his position. Lucas turned and walked away from them.
She was so happy it was the weekend. The week and just the whole school was so horrible that she wasn't sure if she wanted to go back next week. Right now she and Jake were watching a movie, well he was watching. She couldn't focus enough to watch it; she was too focused on not feeling anything.
'Did you see Jack today?' Jake asked her during a commercial.
'I haven't seen him. Maybe he's at his favourite bar or he's probably lying in a ditch somewhere drunk.' She muttered bitterly. She hadn't been in any close contact with him from the day he came back from where ever. She had done her best to stay away from him and it had work out so far. He wasn't around much lately though; he would leave early in the morning and come home late in the night.
'Hmmm...' Was all Jake said. She jumped when she heard a crash outside. 'What was that?'
'I don't know, sounds like someone knocked over the garbage cans outside,' she replied unconcerned.
'It sounds like our trash can. Jack must have run into it, the asshole must be drunk.' Jake muttered with a curse as he got up. Alexis followed him and before they could reach the door it crashed open causing them to jump back. The whole door was smashed and was lying broken on the floor, but that wasn't her problem right now. Two large men was standing before them, they looked to be body builders because damn they were huge. The shortest one had long blonde hair and blue eyes that bored into hers, the other one was just a little bit taller and had a bald head covered with tattoos with dark scary eyes. They were dressed like they were in a gang, leather and lots of chains.
