"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on." ~Winston Churchill

Tyler

I feel really guilty. After that incident at the restaurant, Stacey and I tried to keep everything cool. The situation in the office has toned down a bit since Stacey refrained from going to the office. I have to insist for her to come along with me at least twice a week so we can spend the whole day together even if we both are working.

The whole point of bringing Stacey to Singapore is for us to be able to make up for the times that we lost. But I'm afraid that it turns out to be even more difficult for us to be in public. She's afraid to go out on a date with me, not wanting to bump into another woman that I have been with in my past. I can't blame her. As much as I try to convince her that she's the only one for me, the girl is still doubtful that one day I'll give up on her. Nope. Not happening. She's mine and I am hers.

"I told you I'm not going back there babe. Why can't we just stay at home and watch a movie, I'll bake your favorite cookies. What do you think?" She nuzzles my neck while i hug her tight in the couch. She jumps on me the moment I stepped in the door. Today was hectic, had to be in a couple of meetings, reports to be sent to my dad.

"We'll just drop by and we can go home like maybe after an hour. The guys just need to see me there and we can go. I promise we won't be long." I promised the guys from work that I'll meet them at Harvey's for a couple of shots.

"I told you I'm not comfortable in that place. Too much alcohol, a lot of smoke, loud music. I dunno, What if I'll just stay here and I'll just wait for you. I'll just order in Chinese take-out, or maybe pizza." She sighs while she moves to straddle me. I don't really know how she cope up with the change. It's been three months since I took her from Corona and decided to bring her to Singapore.

"You sure you don't want to go?" I hold her face in my big hands and she just smiles at me. I love this girl so much that I would be willing to give up anything, and I mean anything just for her to be happy.

"Nope. But promise to be home early. Okay?" She gives me that smile that swept me off my feet.

"I promise." I lower down my face so I can kiss her. She is so responsive. She kisses me back with slow strokes of her soft lips.

"Now off you go before I change my mind and bind you to the bed posts." She chuckles and tries to move her body out of my way.

"Now that might make me change my mind." She laughs as I grip her hips tighter not letting her move an inch. Just the thought of my girl getting naughty with me makes me feel giddy.

"I'm kidding! I'm kidding!" She yelps when I grip her hips close to my body as I lift her off the couch.

"Nope. Not buying that. Come on let's get this party started." She giggles while I lower her on the mattress. Her golden hair spayed around my pillow.

"Did you forget? Your party is at Harvey's." She giggles again when I kiss her neck. I lift my head so I can look at her. Her eyes are glowing against the dim-light of the room.

"I love your giggles. I love it when you're happy with me Stace." I whisper against her lips as I trace my knuckles against her jaw line. She leans toward my touch and smile at me.

"I am happy with you Tyler. I never thought I would be this happy in my life. I didn't know why I was so afraid of this. Of us. I never thought we are going to work. That this relationship is going to work." She opens her eyes and closed it again as I kiss the top of her nose.

"I am never letting go of you Stacey. No matter what happens, you and I are happening. Okay babe?" She nods her head and before she can speak I catch her mouth with mine. Kissing her like the first time. A kiss full love of and care. Not too greedy but not too lax either.

"Wait, what about the guys?" She asks breathlessly as I move to rip her clothes off her.

"To heck with the guys. They're adults, they should know how to wait. I am their boss so I can be there anytime I wish." She rolls her eyes and smirks at me.

"You are too bossy Tyler Johnson. And I love it when you're bossy. Especially with me." She puts her hands behind my neck and slowly pulls me down towards her body. And of course, I oblige and follow her down the bed. Who am I to complain?

Moments like these are one of the reasons for me to hurry home. I never get tired of making Stacey feel loved. No matter how busy I am at the office, one call from Stacey will make me disobey all the traffic rules. I'm lucky I haven't been caught yet. Yet. But I don't care. I come running when my girl needs me. I know she feels lonely sometimes especially if I go home late, but I always make sure I have time for her. To always make time for her.

"Promise you'll be home before midnight?" She asks while she pulls the blanket on top of her. My phone keeps buzzing for the last thirty minutes. I know I'm late, I don't care.

"I promise. I'll call you. Okay? You sure you don't wanna come with us?" I lean down to kiss her after I put on my white shirt.

"Nah. You enjoy, but don't enjoy too much." She giggles as she helps me fold my shirt sleeves.

"How can I even enjoy when you're not there babe?"

"Good. Drive safely. And lock the door on your way out please." She stands beside me and leads me out of the bedroom.

"Sure. Now call for Chinese delivery. And eat. Eat Stacey." I pinch her nose lightly and kiss her before I go out of the bedroom.

"Sir Yes Sir." She mocks a hand salute and I just shake my head at her.

"Silly. But I love it when you call me Sir and you're wearing nothing. So hot." I pinch her cheek and she swats my hand away.

"Shoo. Go now. Be safe!" She calls after me as I walk out of the house.

"I will!" I already sent a text the guys that I'll be there in a few minutes. I know I won't be staying long tonight. Not without Stacey with me.
