"With love, you should go ahead and take the risk of getting hurt because love is an amazing feeling." – Britney Spears.

Tyler

"We should get together again sometimes my friend." Brandon taps my shoulder as we lift our wine glasses to toast.

"More drinks gentlemen?" Vanessa joins our conversation. This woman moves like a thief. I always have to keep an eye on her when Stacey is around. I don't want to upset Stacey with a simple touch from Vanessa. She gets furious when she's around. I don't understand the instant jealousy that she has for that woman.

"I dunno man, I think I have to pass from alcohol from now on." I chuckle. I look around for Stacey. She's been at the comfort room for too long now. She excused herself after my speech. She's been a bit handful this past few weeks. Always grumpy and I don't know if it's because of me or it's a girl thing. She's always on the phone with Jaz. I don't complain if she spends time talking to Jasmine, I know she misses her bestfriend.

"Yeah right." Brandon smirks at me.

"I think Mr. Yakemoto needs another drink Vann." I tell Vanessa when she starts to caress my shoulder. I look around thankful that Stacey is not out of the ladies room yet.

"Okay. I'll leave you guys behind. Behave Brandon." She winks at Brandon and struts her way to Mr. Yakemoto.

"Jeez. That girl has hots for you man!" Brandon chuckles as he sips his wine.

"I don't need that kind of distraction man. I have my girl with me and she's more than enough for me." I shake my head and smirk back at him.

"Good. Cause I don't think she like Vanessa."

"Spot on! She seems a bit jealous of her these days. I don't know why." I look around and nod at a couple of familiar faces. The place is packed with guests.

"You can't blame her. After that incident at the bar? Who would want you to be near that Vanessa?"

"I know. I got a bit drunk that night. I don't even remember a thing that happened. When I woke up, I'm spooning with my girl. Imagine that." Im still clueless about what happened that night. It seems to me that Stacey always tries to avoid talking about it.

"Pretty drunk man. What a feisty girl you got there. I can still remember the look in her face when she saw you at the bar." He laughs lightly. I try to gather my thoughts at what he just said.

"What do you mean?" I raise my eyebrows at him. Not understanding what exactly was he referring to.

"Stacey. She went to the bar to fetch you that night." He grabs another glass of wine from the waiter who passed by.

"Are you drunk already? You're talking sh*t man." I chuckle as I notice his swaying from side to side. There's no point talking to this man right now. He's had more than enough of wine tonight.

"I may be a...a little drunk but I know what I'm saying man. Stacey went to the bar. Harvey's. She... She was... Wait... I think I'm going to be sick." He left me gaping at him as he runs to the men's room. I still can't understand what he was saying. Stacey at Harvey's? How come? It was Jonathan who brought me home. Did she lie to me?

"Where's Brandon?" Vanessa brings me back to the present as she hands me another glass of wine and take the empty glass from my hand.

"He... he got sick." I shake my head. Downing the wine from the glass she just handed me.

"Poor baby." She chuckles as she rests her hand at my back. This girl is really touchy.

"Stop doing that Vann." I move away from her keeping my distance.

"What do you mean?" She pouts her lips. Her eyes are glassy. She's drunk too?

"I have to ask you something. Did you see Stacey at Harvey's the last time we were there?" I ask her straightforwardly which she didn't take lightly.

"Uhmmm..." She looks around looking for an escape.

"Vanessa. Did you see her at Harvey's?" My voice is stern and hard. I have to know if she lied to me. Why was she there in the first place? If she was there, why didn't I see her? Was she hiding from me? Is this what this attitude for the past weeks was all about?

"Come here. Let's not make a scene." Vanessa pulls me out of the crowd and we move to the back room. I look around and I see office supplies everywhere. I don't care where we are, I need to know.

"What?" I pull my arm way from her grip and she just smiles at me.

"Look Tyler, why are you so hung up on her? You know you have me." She circles her arms at my waist but I move her hands away.

"Vanessa just tell me honestly." I cross my arms at my chest feeling irritated at her stubbornness.

"Fine. Yes I saw her there at Harvey's that night."

"Was she alone? What time did you see her?" Now I'm more confused.

"I don't know. I'm not sure what time it was."

"Was she alone? Did you see if she was with someone?" I know I sound ridiculous. Why am I believing her? Of all the people that I can talk to, why am I talking to her? Because she got answers to your stupid questions you j*rk!

"She's not alone." Vanessa smiles wickedly at me. I just shake my head because I can't believe what she was saying.

"I don't believe you."

"Then don't. I told you Tyler, she's no good. And guess what, I think I saw her with Jonathan." She whispers as she moves closer. My eyes are wide in shock.

"Jonathan? Are you kidding me?" I mock laugh at her because I honestly don't believe a word she says.

Jonathan? Is she having an affair with Jonathan? Is that what those questionable glances that I get from both of them? I saw them talking to each other last time at the pantry and saw their awkward goodbyes to each other. Should I believe this?

"Do I look like I'm kidding Tyler?" She whispers as she traces my jaw with her hand but I swat her hand away.

"Why should I believe you huh?" I snarl at her. This might just be her way of breaking us, but this freaking hurts.

"Why should I lie to you huh? You know how strong my loyalty is to you. You know that. You know you can trust me Tyler. And I know you cant resist me either." She moves her head quickly as she starts kissing my neck. I'm still processing everything that she says when I hear a loud thud from behind.

"What do you think you're doing!" I move as fast as a bullet as I push her shoulders away from me sending her ass-first on the floor.

"She will just hurt you Tyler. She's not enough for you. I know you. You can't be a one-woman man." She smirks at me as she grabs the edge of the table to help herself to her feet.

"Well you don't know me too well then Vanessa. And Just so you know, we were never an item. You and me? Never. Stacey is the one for me. So live with it." I turn my back from her and head for the hall.

I have to look for her. Clear things with her. I look everywhere for her but I didn't find her anywhere. I walk to the parking area, hoping to find her there.

There she is. My eyes see red. Im past my boiling point right now. I can definitely kill anyone who comes my way.

He is holding her. Jonathan is holding her in his arms. That *sshole!

"HEY!"
