Finding Out

"You gotta be kidding me." Tyler murmurs as we park outside Dr. Suarez's clinic. Today is my ultrasound schedule. Tyler woke up earlier than our alarm clock. Well, he said he was too excited to sleep.

"What?" I ask when he just stares at the clinic.

"Why didn't you tell me that your OB-Gyne is a male doctor?" He frowns at me.

"You know Dr. Suarez? And what is so wrong with a male doctor anyway?" I smirk at him as we help ourselves out of the car.

"Well, everything is so wrong with a male doctor when it comes to you Stacey. " He stops me from walking and give my shoulders a little shake.

"Jeez. Stop that. You're over reacting. My previous Ob-Gyne is out of the country, that's her husband who's gonna check on me right now. This is temporary. Just for a month, Ty. So basically I'm still gonna be taken cared of a female doctor once I'm having this baby. So chill." I squeeze his arm. He is acting really weird with me. He is super possessive. "And how do you happen to know Dr. Suarez again?"

"Dr. Suarez happens to be a friend. A family friend to be exact." He shakes his head.

"Then good. You have nothing to worry about since you exactly know he's not gonna do anything that I won't agree to in the first place." I made sure that my tone is low and calm.

"I know Richard, Stace. He's very... well, very tricky with women."

"You shouldn't be afraid of that Tyler. Let's go ahead and have this done with. I'm starving." I know. I just had breakfast before we called to set an appointment. Well, ask my hormones about it!

"Fine. If only I'm not excited to know, I would have had this appointment cancelled and have you checked with a female doctor." I know he's not happy but he can't really do anything about this now. I just smile at him and he shakes his head. I can see that he doesn't really agree with this.

There are a few pregnant women ahead of us. I nod and greet a few who are familiar to me. I smile as we approach the assistant's desk. Tyler holding me close against him.

"Hi Stacey. it's really nice to see you today. I saw in your chart earlier that you have your ultrasound scheduled for today." Joan smiles briefly at me and it's really hard to ignore the flirty smiles she gives Tyler.

"Yeah. Is Dr. Suarez already in?" I clear my throat when she just keeps on ogling at Tyler who is pretty busy checking out the place.

"Yeah. He's currently with a patient. Just sit down and I'll have your name called when you're up." She answers me but her eyes are glued on Tyler. I can't really blame her, he's incredibly handsome today even just in his shirt and jeans. His shirt outlining the muscular structure of his body. He squeezes my waist when he caught me staring at him.

"You like what you see?" He whispers in my ear and he laughs when I give him a little jab on his ribs. "Aw! You're hurting me." He pouts and chuckles and I can't help but admire that look on his face when he laughs.

"Oh, by the way Jo, this is Tyler. Ty, this is Joahna, Dr. Suarez's assistant." I'm sure I caught her blush when Tyler reaches out to shake her hand.

"Nice to meet you. By the way, can I come with her when Rich... I mean the doctor checks on her?"

"Uhh..." Joahna looks at me, then at Tyler. I'm sure she's confused if she's gonna pop the question or not.

"He's the...you know... the father..so..." I tell her when she looks lost.
