I place my finger against the small button as I hear a muffled "ding-dong" from behind the tall wooden door. I hear large stomps and small feet pitter pattering towards the door.

"Hello Regina!" John says while pulling me in for a hug. He releases and turns towards his brother, "Robin!" he says giddily as the brothers exchange some sort of handshake.

"Mommy" I hear a little boy squeal from behind the giant man in front of me. I see his curly hair, half his face, and a dimple peek out from behind Johns leg. I squat down and open my arms to him. I enjoy the way his body leaps in to mine. Roland wraps his arms around my neck and squeezes. I rub circles on his back before turning my head and kissing him on the cheek. He begins to release and run to his father. "Daddy!" he shouts as he runs to his dad with open arms. Robin lifts him from the air and slings him over his shoulder, galloping around, making Roland's curls bounce on his head. He giggles and laughs making father and son have matches dimples. Robin then brings Roland down to sit on his hip.

"How was your time with Uncle John?" He questions fixing his sons now messy hair. Roland immediately responds without hesitation, "It was a lot of fun!"

"Would you like to come in for breakfast?" John offers pointing towards the still open door, a friendly smile stretching across his face.

"Oh no." I reply apologetically, "Robin and I already ate. And I'm sure you'd like some rest after taking care of this crazy boy."

"Of course not!" he exclaims starting to work his way to the door, "He's never a problem, his father raised him well" He nods his head towards robin and I look lovingly towards my fiancé.

"Well thank you very much for watching Roland."I smile at him before turning my head towards Robin, "We had a... wonderful time" I begin to reminisce of last nights events but I'm pulled back to the present, "But we'd love to have you over for some dinner as a token of appreciation," I offer to the large man who I know enjoys his food.

"I may just take you up on that" He chuckles to himself "Robin has told me much about your infamous lasagna"

"How about next weekend?" I ask

"sounds perfect!"

"Well then its set! Say six o'clock?" He nods his head in agreement. We begin our goodbyes and he slowly eases the door closed before he stops abruptly. "Wait! Regina!" He calls out from the porch and I turn back around to face him. "What did you say?" He questions.

"I- I asked if six o'clock was okay?" I ask questioning if that was what he meant.

"No, to Robin? What did you say?" And I watch as his eyes drift down to the ring on my finger.

"Oh!" I say a bit flustered, I look from my hand to Robin, then back to my hand, " I said yes." He smiles and quickly congratulates us before I hear the click of the lock on the doorknob.

We walk off John's porch as Roland begins to talk up a storm about what him and Uncle John did, how they played games, both in real life and on his television, and how he wants to go back for another night.
