Robin and I have now been dating for a whole six months. And Its been the best half year of my life. We've done so much together. There have been so many amazing and beautiful memories we've shared together. Roland and I have also grown very close, I'm now completely comfortable with him calling me mom, and the art school is doing great. Robin and Roland our now completely moved in and we gutted out my 'art room' for Roland's bedroom. I couldn't be happier for once things are looking up in my life.
Today is me and Robin's six-month-aversary, but I don't expect Robin to remember, none of the guys I ever dated cared about things like that. Most of them forgot about one year anniversaries. So I really have no expectation of Robin remembering.
I am in the kitchen cooking lunch for Roland and I. Unfortunately Robin was called in to work this morning for an 'emergency' so its gonna just be Roland and I for a while.

Roland is asleep on the couch for his afternoon nap, and I'm next to him watching TV. I hear a knock on the door and I figure it's Robin. But he's home an hour early, and why wouldn't he just use a key? "Who is it?" I call out. No response. So I get up and walk to the door, and look through the peephole. No one is there. "Thats odd" I whisper to myself. I slowly open the door and see a bouquet of red roses. Tucked in-between some of the rose is a small note. Happy anniversary to my queen ~Robin. I smile to myself, he must've had these delivered. I start to walk back to the kitchen to grab a vase when I hear another series of knocks. I walk back to the door and open it to a handsome man in a suit and tie. "Robin?" I question the man in front of me. I slowly walk up to him and wrap my arms around his neck and lean my head on his shoulder. "What are you doing home so early?"
And I feel him wrap his arm around my waist, "Because its our six-month-aversary." And I pull back, still in his arms, as he smiles at me.
"Sooo..." I drag the word out.
"Sooo..." He repeats me "I say we go for a date."
Somehow I manage to widen my smile further, "Sounds lovely...but what about Roland?"
I then hear footsteps coming up towards our apartment "don't worry about him, I'll take him with me."
I step out of Robins embrace, and give the man speaking a friendly hug. "John! Its been a while."
He hugs me back, "Yes it has, and I would love to talk but I believe that you have a date to get to." And he smirks at me.
"Why don't you go get dressed milady and I'll wait here for you." Robin tells me before pecking me on the nose.
I don't want Robin to wait too long so I try to get dressed as quickly as possible. I rush back to the living room, all ready to go, and the two brothers are on the couch talking, Roland still fast asleep. "Ready milady?" he asks me while standing up from the couch.
"I think so," and I walk over to John for a goodbye hug "It was nice seeing you John, I really appreciate this! We'll try to pick him soon tomorrow."
"Don't worry about it, you two just have fun," and he smiles before smirking, "but not too much fun."
We all chuckle since me and Robin have never had 'too much fun.' Which I honestly don't mind, I appreciate his respect for me. John lifts Roland off the couch and carries him out to his car. I watch from the window and wave as they drive off. I leap at the man next to me and wrap my arms round his neck, "God I love you so much!" And I kiss him quickly. "Shall we?" Robin asks while grabbing my waist."We shall." And I grab his hand, and my purse as we walk out the door together, hand in hand.
