I HAVENT RE READ THIS SO THERE IS PROBABLY MISTAKES AND I APOLOGISE

I can't help but sympathize and adore how cute Michael is at the same time as he remains shy in stores.

He scuttles along in front of me, occasionally stumbling over his small feet, with his sleeves pulled over his hands, creating sweater paws.

But all I can think about is those sleeves, covering his scars. His scars that he's so damn ashamed of.

But I love them, not what they represent, not that he hurt himself, but the fact they're apart of him and that immediately make them perfect, and it shows he once wasn't able to carry on, but here he is now, shopping with me whilst I hopelessly crush on him.

I must seem so pathetic, but tomorrow I'll have known him for a whole week! Incredible, sometimes, when I tell people how long we've known each other, they don't believe me... it's just too long.

Note the sarcasm.

"Anything in mind?" I ask Michael, catching up to him as he thumbs every outfit on the rails as we walk past them.

"I-I don't k-know," he admits quietly. "L-Luke... you wont j-udge me w-will you?" he asks, chewing on his lip.

"No of course not Michael!" I say, immediately sympathetic for the boy, he must be so used to people dragging him down, and hating on him, that he has to check with everyone. Kind of sad really.

Michael must see how sincere I am and his face floods with relief and he soon picks up the pace with his shopping, becoming more excited and happy and giggly.

Soon enough he's picking up flower crowns and cute shirts and sweaters with floral patterns on them and earrings and other things.

"Want to go to the changing rooms?" I ask, laughing as he struggles with all the clothes he's got in his weak arms.

He nods with a cute little smile and I wait outside his changing, like a gentleman.

I hear him huff and puff a few times and I chuckle.

"L-Luke?" he calls out, and I can hear the anxiousness in his voice.

"Yeah, you ready?" he stutters back a yes. "Don't be nervous, Mikey,"

I hear the lock slide across and then he steps out, and I can't keep my eyes off him.

On his head is a light blue and purple flower crown that contrasts perfectly against his fading pink hair, hanging off his shoulders is white flowing shirt, not too fitting as it stands perfectly on his petite body.

On his slim legs are a pair of black jeans with rips running throughout them, and he's the most angelic thing I've ever seen.

"You're beautiful," I say breathlessly, my voice shaky and uncertain and I see him look at my with a surprised look, before looking down at the floor, unable to hide the blush scattering over his pale cheeks. "Shit, errrr... sorry," I say awkwardly, standing up and clearing my throat.

Michael hesitates before he speaks.

"I-It's fine L-Luke," he stutters and suddenly I just can't get the biggest smile off my face.

A surge of confidence runs through me.

"Come on, I'm buying you it," I say, grabbing his wrist. He stops suddenly.

"Why?" he asks, without stuttering, and I just want to hug him. He must notice that I notice and he smiles sheepishly.

"For our date, of course," I grin when I say it, as I see the reaction growing on his little face.
