"I c-can do t-that!" Michael argues with me, as he watched the football match that's on the TV. I roll my eyes, smiling lightly at the boy who's snuggled into my side. I continue to run one hand through his dark hair, while he fiddles with my fingers and the rings on my other hand.
"Sure you can, Michael." I coo, laughing carefully and he blushes, shrinking back into my chest. His warmth is mine and for a long time it's wonderful.
"It c-can't be t-that h-hard!" The small boy argues and I laugh again as his cheeks continue to flush. I don't say anything in return because there's not much to say in reply without discouraging him, because that's the last thing I ever want to do to the boy who can do anything in the world.
"C-Come on then, s-s-show m-me!" very quickly my small boyfriend gets to his feet, and oh god, he's being serious.
He begins to get changed out of his pyjamas into a sweater and sweatpants; soon enough we are down the near by field; Ashton and cal tagged along with us because they saw us leaving the house, so now it's the four of us and god bless Michael, but he can't play football for shit.
"if you lean back it'll go up hi-" I watch from a distance, shaking my head, stopping myself as I walk over. "Come ere'"
I plant myself behind the green eyed boy, holding my hands to his waist and pressing myself up against him; like they do in the movies. I watch the blood rush up his cheeks and I smirk slightly; I delicately twist him slightly to the left.
My mouth is near his ears, my mouth brushing against his skin.
"Move like this slightly.. mhm, that's it," I say, "Now kick."
He does so, kicking more successfully this time and it goes into the goal; I wink at calum who allows it to go in.
"Good job, baby!" he squeals, turning to me, and I peck on his lips. He seems overjoyed with his accomplishment. And I guess I'm overjoyed for him, too.
It's nice for him to take his mind off everything going on, and it's all pretty nice for us lot to see him happy, it might not be for long, but it's for now.
And that's good enough for all of us.
"see, t-t-told you i-it w-was easy," Michael giggles, which makes me giggle too.
He takes a step forward, ready to kick the ball; and just as he does so, swinging his leg out only to miss and fall on his ass, straight into a puddle of mud.
We all burst into a fit of giggles, struggling to contain ourselves; as he laughs, blush scatters over his cheeks like the freckles on his neck, and oh, isn't he lovely.
I step forward and offer him my hand- he accepts it, getting himself back onto his feet with my help, a pout on his lips.
"f-for g-g-god s-sake," he moans, but there's still a sense of humour behind it.
"Come here silly billy."
I wrap my arms his body as he giggles into me, as Calum and Ash walk over to us, the sun set striking against their back and creating an angelic glow around them.
Neither of them can stop themselves from letting out a chuckle and patting mikey on the back as he pulls away from my hug.
"My n-names M-Michael, not b-billy." He whispers. I roll my eyes, sticking out my hand for him to hold, of which he quickly accepts and we begin to walk, scooping the football back into my arms.
"Shall we go home baby?" I ask, nudging him lightly.
"Y-Yeah."
