I'm out shopping when I bump into two familiar faces; an Asian looking boy and a curly haired tanned kid are looking at ice cream; of course they are.

For a moment when I look at them I have a double take because I could've sworn for a second they were holding hands; I highly doubt what I saw so I shake it off.

"Hey, Curly!" I shout, catching Ashtons attention and the look on his face is something beautiful; we haven't seen each other in forever and he blossoms this big goofy smile and begins to run over to me.

He wraps his arms around me and we hug real tight and through my slightly opened eyes, over Ash's shoulder I see Calum grinning and running toward me too- soon, I'm equally engulfed in Calum's arms.

The last time I saw these two was.. well, before a lot of shit happened.

"It's been so long bro!" Calum says, and I nod, pulling away from him- the pair stand and study me, and I for a moment or two I wish I wasn't here.

I still look bad. Ill. Yes, better, I've eaten more and I haven't done anything hardcore in a while but I still have a bruised cheek; only faint now, and tired eyes and a cut lip.

"I know, I'm sorry." I'm still skinnier than usual. Not like Mikey, but the kind of drug addict skinny kinda looking if you get me. there's a form of sadness in their eyes but no one says anything until Calum smiles sweetly.

"Coffee?"

"Coffee."

;

The coffee shop is a cosy one; I've never been here before but I can tell Calum and Ashton have many times as they walk in with ease and grin at a pretty girl wearing an apron who smiles back, waving. My heavy shoes pour down on the wooden floor as I slip out my phone; I pull up Mikey's contact and send him a text to let him know where I am and that I'm with the boys.

Just as I am about to hit send a little old calum peaks over my shoulder, glaring at the phone and jerks his head to the side.

"Why don't you invite him? Us two have missed him." He says, reeling back after a moment or two to take his coffee out of Ash's hand, smiling softly at him.

Their gaze holds for a while. It's a beautiful look.

The kind of way I look at Michael sometimes- I nod, after mumbling how I suppose it will be fine and add an extra thing telling him where it is and he's more than welcome to come see the boys.

What they don't know is that when Michael woke up this morning, he wasn't at his finest. Perhaps at his worst I've seen him since he got home; he woke up and almost instantly a regret ached his eyes because he wanted to be back in asleep- a peaceful place in which, when not taunted by his nightmares, he can escape the horrors his head feeds him.
