The next six days went by so fast. There were photoshoots, interviews, recording sessions. Everything! OH, and also time spent with Cody and Jen of course! I was leaving at 5 pm tonight. I found out that Jen was coming with me to LA for the first four days! I wasn't supposed to know until 4 today, but Jen was never really good at hiding things from me. Oh well, I'm still super excited she's coming!
I spent my day packing up the rest of my things like my toothbrush and things like that. Cody was helping me since Jen was enjoying her last day with Jake until he went back to Austrailia. I figured they needed some space to say goodbye to each other and such.
"Are you excited for your career to really take off rockstar?" Cody asked me smiling.
"Of course! But I'm even more excited that I'll still be able to see you everyday." I leaned over and kissed him.
"Yeahhh...about that...I'm kind of getting sick of you.."
I looked at him with a straight face and could feel myself go pale. Then he started laughing and my heat went back to it's normal speed. Thank God. I smiled and pushed him lightly.
"So I talked to Tracy today.....I have a question for you!" He said trying to hide the excitment in his voice.
"Shoot!"
"Do you want to open for my concert in LA? It's in 3 days...Tracy is cool with it!"
"UM, DUH!" I say freaking out. I run up to him and pretty much takle him with a hug!
"Hahahaha, Jeez don't hurt yourself there Angel, wouldn't wanna mess up that pretty face of yours before the concert would we?"
"I love you Cody!" I smile at him and kiss him before he can reply. I look over at the clock and see that it's 4:30. Cody and I grab my bags and go downstairs. Angie, Brad, and Tom were already here talking to Jill. Then I saw Alli come out of the bathroom.
"Hey girl! Ready for Cali?!" She asks me wide-eyed.
"Yes! I'm so freakin excited!" I was jumping up and down and Cody was looking at me and laughing.
"Are you laughing at me?!" I say in fake shock, pretending to be offended.
"Of course not! But we better go My parents are heading for the car."
We grab all our things and I say goodbye and thank Jill a million times. I would really miss her.
Jen was already outside saying goodbye to Jake. They both had a little bit of tears in their eyes. Aw. They were going to make me cry!
Within five minutes the car was all packed and we huddled in. Brad driving with Angie in the passenger seat. Jen and Alli in the front two seats, and Cody and I in the back. I hug Jen before she gets in. "You gonna be okay?" I ask her. She nods slightly and gets in the car.
The airport was about a half hour drive. Our flight left at 6:30, and we would get there at around 5:45 because of traffic. We all talked about a mix of things when we finally got there. We went through bag check and all that stuff and headed to our gate. When they called our flight number we got up and i grabbed my carry on bag with one hand. Cody grabbed my free hand and we walked onto the plane smiling. I heard cameras clicking and people gasping, but I didn't care. We were flying first class!
I took a seat next to Cody. This was only the second time I was ever on a plane, the first time being when I was four. I was getting kind of nervous and Cody noticed. He squeezed my hand.
"You okay?" He asks quietly.
"Yeah, just kind of nervous I guess." I laugh sheepishly.
"Don't be. The worst that could happen is us crashing and dying. No big deal."
My eyes got wide and smacked his arm. He laughed which made me laugh too. Before I knew it we were in the air. Hey, that wasn't so bad. The flight was only 6 hours. I could handle this.
Cody and I talked for 2 hours until I finally fell asleep on his shoulder at around 9:30 ish. He was playing with my hair, which I loved to fall asleep too.
I woke up at around 11:30. Only about 1 hour to go. I looked over and saw Cody playing Angry Birds on his iPhone.
"Morning beautiful. One more hour!" He whispered. I smiled and looked around to see almsot everyone including Angie and Brad sleeping.
We talked quietly until everyone woke up at around midnight. We would be landing soon. Oh great, that meant my ears would be popping. YAY! Not.
"Hey Ryan, I've been meaning to ask you...How many songs have you recorded so far for your album?" Angie asked me curiously.
"9 of the 12 that will be on the CD! Only 7 have been realeased yet though, the rest will be released while in LA." I explain to her. She nodded her head and then the flight attendant said we would be landing.
*AT THE AIRPORT!*
As we were walking through the airport Alli, Cody, and I couldn't help but burst out sining Party In The USA by Miley Cyrus. We got crazy stares from people but we didn't mind it. The papparazzi was also snapping pictures of us arriving. That kind of bugged me since my hair was probably a mess but whatever, it happens.
As we were walking to get our luggage, I was bombarded with hugs from people. I was very confused at first until I realized it was Aunt Casey, Uncle Drew, Monica, Jesse, and Katelyn(my three cousins). They all seemed happy to see me except for Monica. She never really liked me. I saw her wearing a Cody Simpson shirt. Oh no, am I really going to have to deal with this? I swear if she makes a big deal out of me dating Cody I'll flip.
"Ryyyyyan! I missed so much favorite cousin!!!" Monica said. She sounded preppy. I could tell she was just acting like she loved me for Cody.
"I missed you too." I said somewhat monotone.
She didn't say anything, she just walked right up to Cody and smiled. Two can play at that game.
I walked right up to Cody and grabbed his hand. He looked at me confused at first, but then smiled. I smiled back the cutest smile I could do. Monica gave me a death stare and Cody certainly noticed. He looked at me and winked as if to say "I got this."
"So Cody, I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other since you're like best friends with Ryan!"
If he doesn't say I'm his girlfriend.....
"Actually Ryan's my girlfriend! But yeah I guess we will see each other sometimes." He put his arm around and gave Monica a big cocky smile as he was saying it. All she did was scoff and walk away.
"Wow even your FAMILY is jealous of you. I guess your gorgeousness gets to people!" He kissed my forehead and handed me some of my things. He grabbed the rest and we walked over to Casey.
"Hello Ryan! You got so big! Last time I saw you, you were like 5 feet shorter!" She winked at me and pulled me into another hug.
Cody and Jesse actually hit if off instantly. Jesse was one of those guys who loved everybody. Thankfully, so was Cody. Good, now I don't have to worry about Cody not liking my family!
"Well why don't we go get you unpacked little miss?" Aunt Casey suggested.
"Sure thing!" I said goodbye to Cody and Alli and everyone else. Jesse and Drew helped me with my bags and we headed off to Casey's house.
