Chapter 4
"DAMN YOU, DOMINIC," Yvonne's message read. "Tell me his name."
"Nope." I replied. I sent the picture in our group message in Facebook, so all of the best of friends of mine would see it. We were four in our group, I am the only boy.
"I know him!" Krishna said, "Gregory... Urgh, I forgot the surname. I saw him last week when our university conducted an intercampus chemistry fair."
"Hey, Girls!" Stephanie's name popped up. "It's been a long time. How are you all doing?" during our first time together, I got annoyed when they'd call me as one of the Girls, but not anymore now. I was used to it.
"Fine and missing you all." I replied.
"Yvonne! How is your modeling career?" Krishna asked. In our group, Yvonne was the prettiest and the most famous. She won almost all of the pageants in the town. She was also a partygoer, a trait of her which the group hated about her, yet she was the closest to my heart.
"Sucks." Yvonne snorted. "No career actually."
"I guess video chatting will do better. Sign in at your Skype account, pretties." Stephanie suggested.
I did not know how much I missed them until I saw their faces appeared at my laptop monitor, it had been several months without communications because, of course, we flew to different universities. Krishna and I went to a medical school while Yvonne and Stephanie landed at the same school taking up performing arts. Stephanie was a shy type at first but she was the loudest among of us. Krishna, intelligent as ever, is the NBSB kind but she had the sharpest eye for handsome and hot boys back then.
Nothing lot changed about my girls, but Krishna got her hair cut short. "I like the apple cut. Improving fashion taste, huh?" I complemented while waiting for the others to appear.
Yvonne came next. "Oh, wow! Beautiful!" I told her. She curled her hair which matched her blonde and her pale skin.
"Dominic, handsome boy!" Yvonne complimented back. "Who was that on the picture you sent us, your boyfriend?
"No!" I laughed. I saw Stephanie as she showed at the screen. "A friend."
"A friend you go shower with?" Krishna asked, mockingly. "Your charisma must be evolving!"
"I have a crush on him at first time I saw his picture." Stephanie admitted and the girls came alive as they saw her. She seemed to be at their backyard. The ambiance of her place was not so American.
"Back at Korea, Stephanie?" I asked.
"Yes." She replied. "Just for a short vacation. I will be back there next week."
"Hey, about the boy." Yvonne began. "What's his name?"
"And why would I tell you?" I spiked, one brow rising.
"Dominic!" She screamed, itching to flirt. I laughed hard and so the girls. "His name is?"
"Gregory." Krishna broke in.
"Rivera." I continued and Yvonne started typing it in. I was quite sure she was checking his Facebook. She gasped. I was sure she was drooled. Who would not be? I should not be surprised.
"Hot." was all she could say. The girls began to type in also, checking his Facebook and probably adding him.
"Where did you meet him?" Stephanie interrogated.
"He is my schoolmate and neighbor."
"Hotsome, indeed." Krishna whispered, drooling.
"Girls!" I shouted. Everybody was silent, indulging perhaps, on Greg's photos. "Hey!" I yelled once more, drawing their attention back.
