I awake to a full hospital room, I groan and feel my head, padded up. Tears stream down my face, I'm in excruciating pain. It feels like a needle is going through every part of my body. My stomach feels like it's about to burst and I have a massive migraine.

"She's awake." Luke stands up from his spot beside me.

"It's not a good thing." The doctor crouches down next to me and sighs. "Her history of medical problems really screwed her up this accident, not to mention the drugs and alcohol."

"What's that supposed to mean?" My mom wipes her eyes, her voice shaky.

"It means that the car crashed into her harder and she somehow survived. Her nerves got disconnected from her brain; it's a miracle she's breathing right now. Rosalie's body is reacting negatively to the problem, causing her extreme pain." He shakes his head and wipes my tears away before standing back up. "I'm going to hold a meeting about what would be the best option for her possible recovery."

"Possible?" Alex opens her mouth.

"I'm sorry. I'll be back. Rosalie, don't try to talk." He nods and leaves the room.

I hate this. Why do I have to be so reckless and messed up? I don't ever think of the possible consequences. Hearing the tone in this doctors voice shows that the chances of me getting better isn't good. Maybe this is a good sign. Maybe they'll put me down, like a dog.

"Rosie." Lily sits in the chair next to my bed and holds my hand. If I could smile, I would. It feels like I'm trapped in my body. "I love you, okay? I'm never going to stop being one of your best friends."

"Don't talk like that." Luke pushes her away and kisses my cheek. "She's not dying. I won't let them kill her."

"It's not your choice." Alex speaks from next to my mother. She's so emotionless. It's not like Alex. She always has something to say.

"It's mine." My mom walks out of the room, barely able to control herself.

I wish I could tell them I love them too. I wish I could tell them to send a message to my friends from LA. I wish I could say goodbye to my family.

I clear my throat, already feeling the burn."Can you give me my phone?"

They all turn to me, sadness covering their faces. "Yes." Luke pulls it out of his pocket.

"I love you guys, okay." I look at them, unable to move.

"Who do you need to call?" Luke holds it in front of me.

"Nash."

"Okay." He finds his contact and clicks it, waiting for him to answer. He does, his voice radiating positive energy into this negative room.

"Hey Rosie! How's South Carolina?"

"Nash, is everyone else with you?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Put me on speaker."

"You are. Guys, it's Rosie."

"My friend, Luke is going to explain something before I actually talk. Technically, I'm not supposed to."

Luke clears his throat. "Uh, Rosie got hit by a car last night. Due to her medical problems, her nerves detached from her brain. It's a miracle she's alive but, she's in pain. Pain that's so bad they are talking about what they want to do to her."

"What?" I hear Cameron yell.

"Calm down. I just wanted to say that I love all of you. It doesn't matter what happened between us, or if anything did. I consider you all my friends. I don't know what is going to happen so I didn't want to leave without saying goodbye.

"Rosalie." Nash's voice cracks.

"Goodbye, I love you all and hope for the tour to be great." Another tear rolls down my face and I nod at Luke to end it. He does, leaving the room silent.

"Don't say goodbye to us." Lily shakes her head rapidly. "You're not leaving." She slides down the wall, sobbing uncontrollably.

"It's all my fault. I should've made sure you didn't drink." Alex bites her finger, trying to comfort Lily.

"It's no one's fault but mine." I swallow. "You guys helped me live. I left and everything fell apart. I came back and now it's the same, I just have you guys to help me. I love you."

The door swings open to reveal the doctor and my mother, her face a distressed mess.

"Your mother has agreed to one of two options I have settled on. Due to your pain, you need more time to heal and it makes this difficult. We could put you under, or chemically induce a coma. Your mother chose the latter."

"Okay." I agree, my mom walk over and stroking my cheek. Luke comes next to me and holds my hand.

"1, 2,3." The doctor injects a liquid into my IV, causing me to slowly slip away. The thing is, I don't mind it.
