A/N: This chapter is really short and more of a filler chapter and I'm not 100% happy with it, but I know it's probably getting annoying that I haven't updated in over a month so this will have to do, haha. Hopefully soon I'll have time to sit and write an actual, decent chapter but for now, this is all I've got. Thanks again for reading. This story has almost 6k reads which is crazy. I didn't really expect it to get any attention at all, so thank you, and I hope you continue reading in the future when it actually is more interesting, lol. x

G's POV

"Come on, man. It'll be fun," Marty insisted, practically trying to drag me out of my bunk.

I shook my head, resisting. "I honestly just want to sleep. You go."

He exhaled audibly. "You say that every single night. What has gotten into you?"

I moved my arm from its position over my eyes, looking at him. "I don't know. I just... I don't want to party, I guess."

He laughed, eyeing me incredulously. "Did I just hear you right? You don't want to party?"

I shrugged. "I drank enough after the show and now I just want to sleep, alright?"

"Wait," he paused for a moment, a knowing look spreading across his features. "This isn't about Elena, is it? You aren't even actually dating! Or are you? Holy shit, you're fucking dating her-"

"Calm down, Jesus Christ," I cut him off. "No."

"Then what's this all about?" he questioned me.

"Can you stop interrogating me and just go to the damn party?" I spoke, beginning to become a bit agitated.

He put his hands up in front of him defensively. "Alright, but if you're gonna stop being such a pussy, you know where it is."

A moment later, he began to walk away, and I heard the bus door open then click shut.

Finally, I was alone for a few minutes.

I grabbed my phone, reading some tweets before I decided to call Elena. She picked up after the third ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey," I spoke. "What's going on?"

"Nothing really. Is everything okay? It's like, two AM there," she responded.

"Uh, yeah," I trailed off, clearing my throat. "Everyone's left to a party so I finally have some time to myself for once. I don't know. I just... I miss you, Lena."

I heard her giggle on the other end. "Aww, you are so cute, G. You'll be home in like, two weeks, though. Not much longer."

"I know," I paused for a moment. "I just wish I could see you."

"I want to see you too, G. Soon," I heard her yawn on the other end.

"Tired?" I asked her, chuckling.

She laughed as well. "A little. It's been a long day."

"Oh, I'm sorry for bugging you. Go get some sleep," I spoke.

"Oh my god, you're not bugging me," she laughed again. "I'm glad you called. I missed hearing your voice."

"Likewise," I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "I've especially missed hearing you moan my name."

"Jesus, G. I guess I should have been expecting that one from you," she responded.

"Probably," I paused for a moment. "Look, I'm gonna let you go to sleep or whatever. International phone calls are a bitch."

"Okay, get your ass to that party and have some fun. I'll see you soon."

"Sure thing, Lena. Can't wait."

She laughed a bit before replying. "Me neither. Bye, G."

She hung up a moment later, and I set my phone down beside me in my bunk.

Like hell I was going to that party.

───────────────

The next couple of weeks went by, and I had finally arrived back home in Oakland. Don't get me wrong; I love touring, but sometimes it gets draining and I just want to be back at home for awhile.

I texted Elena the second we touched down, and I felt so stupid for doing it. Marty was right; it was sort of like we were dating-to a certain extent, I supposed. I had managed to get myself pretty wrapped up with her in the few short months that I had known her.

Just got to Oakland, where are you? ;)

My phone buzzed with a text back a couple of minutes later. What a coincidence, I'm going there tomorrow ;)

I chuckled a bit at her sarcastic remark before responding. Tomorrow? I was hoping I'd get to see you today :(

Out of luck, I guess

That's pretty mean Lena.

;) got a shoot now, see ya!

Nooooo, I had texted her back after getting in a taxi and heading back to my apartment. She never responded, even after I texted her again later that night. She knew exactly what she did to me, and she was so damn good at it, too.

And for some reason, I loved every single second of it.
