A/N: This chapter was initially going to be longer, but writing in G's POV is a pain and I didn't want to do split POV as the next chapter will have to be in Elena's anyways, lol. It's late and this is unedited because I have to get up early to work, I just really wanted to get this posted. I don't know how much longer this fic is going to be, to be honest. Maybe another few chapters, lol. Please vote/comment if you liked it! I'm hoping to get the next chapter done soon, and also if you didn't know/haven't checked it out yet, I've started another G fic and the plot is a lot different than this one but I really like the idea of it and it'd mean a lot if you'd read it, especially since this one is probably almost done haha. Thank you all so much for reading! x

G's POV

I rubbed my eyes, yawning as I noticed that I had somehow ended up back in my bed, even though I remembered very clearly passing out on the couch. I chuckled to myself when I realized that Elena must have somehow gotten me to move from the couch to the bed at some point the night before. As I remembered that, more things from the night before came flooding in, specifically the conversation we had just before falling asleep. Just thinking about it made me feel awkward, and I almost hated myself for drinking so much and losing my filter.

Of course she would attribute it to the alcohol, I thought, exhaling. I'd never said it sober before.

I glanced over, seeing her still sleeping soundly. Although I didn't want to wake her up and make her angry, I just wanted to talk to her about it.

"Lena," I shook her gently, trying to wake her up.

"Mmmm," she mumbled, moving her hand to my face, hitting me in the process by accident. "What the fuck, G?"

"Morning," I whispered as she glared up at me, one eye still closed.

"It's like..." she rolled over, looking at the time. "Nine o'clock. Why the hell are you waking me up?"

I sighed, pulling her close to me. "I can't sleep. I just keep thinking about last night."

"Hmmm?" she rested her head on my chest, yawning.

"Uh, you know... When I said that I loved you," I clarified.

She laughed a bit, looking up at me. "I'm surprised you remember anything considering how fucking wrecked you were last night."

"Yeah, I do remember. You told me that I was only saying it because I was drunk-"

She cut me off, sitting back up. "Did you mean it?"

I was taken aback by the abruptness of her question. "Well, yeah. I did."

"Say it, then," she spoke, staring right at me.

"I love you, Lena," I didn't even hesitate when I said it, and it was weird how normal the words sounded directed toward her. I guess it was probably because I was feeling it a long time before I said it. "I'm sorry for telling you when I was drunk, but I'm sober now and I still feel the same. I still love you."

There was a long pause, and I could feel my heart rate increase as she just kept her eyes on me. She isn't going to say it back, I thought. But at least now she knew how I felt, I guess.

Her face suddenly broke into a smile as she leaned in close to me. "I love you too, G."

I exhaled sharply as I shook my head. "Don't fucking scare me like that."

She laughed, grabbing my face in her hands. "You are so fucking cute when you get all sappy. I love it."

"Uh huh," I muttered as her lips connected with mine.

"Now show me," I felt her smirk against my lips.

"Hmmm?" I mumbled.

"Show me that you love me," she spoke, pulling away.

I shook my head, chuckling a bit as I moved so I was over top of her. "Like this?"

She smiled a bit as she grabbed the back of my neck. "Maybe."

I slid my hand under her shirt as I moved my mouth back to hers. One of her hands went from my neck, sliding into my boxers. I groaned, kissing her harder as she giggled a bit. Just as I was getting into it, I heard my phone vibrate on the end table.

"Seriously," I muttered, not moving my lips off hers. "People can't leave me alone for two seconds."

"G, go see who it was," Elena spoke, moving her hand away. "It might have been important."

"Fine. One sec."

She nodded as I reached over, reading the message on the screen:

Yo, a few of us are going out for breakfast. You in? You can bring your girl too ;)

"Jesus Christ," I sighed, still looking down at my phone. "'Marty. What a fucking cockblock."

She laughed a bit as I put the phone back down. "What did he want?"

"He just wanted us to go out for breakfast with him and some others, but it doesn't really matter," I responded.

"Us?" she questioned.

I laughed. "Yeah. He finds it rather funny that you and I are together now."

"Well, maybe we should go, then."

"Did you want to go? I mean, I'd much rather just pick up where we left off," I moved back to her, smirking as I cupped her face in my hands.

"G," she protested, laughing as she tried to turn her face away. "We really should go. It would be rude not to."

"Fine, I'll tell him we'll come," I spoke before retrieving my phone once again and sending Marty a text back: Sure, what time?

It took only a couple of minutes for him to reply. About ten-ish? You better bring Elena tho

"He's really adamant on you being there," I rolled my eyes as I typed a response as Elena laughed.

We'll be there.

"We'll continue that when we get back, though," I chuckled, kissing her forehead. "Let's go get ready."
