A/N: I actually hate this chapter so much and I haven't read over/edited it, so there are probably errors and also I'm so confused about the timelines and stuff in this but anyways I didn't really want to leave this any longer as it's already been over a month since the last update which is horrible. I start my final exams this week, and in a couple of weeks I get just over two weeks off so hopefully I get lots of time to get caught up on writing/am able to post a lot more than I have been. University life has been kicking my ass, lol. Thanks again for reading and please vote and comment if you liked it. x

Elena's POV

"Well, overall I'd say that was a pretty successful shoot," Ben, a modeling coworker of mine and arguably one of my best friends, spoke.

I smiled at him, knotting my now messy and borderline catastrophic hair into a bun. "I think so."

"You think you're gonna keep any of these Halloween costumes for yourself?" he chuckled, holding up one of the tiny pieces of fabric, which I was entirely unsure how it even constituted as a costume in the first place.

"Nah, I don't really dress up, anyways," I laughed as well.

"Oh, come on," he smirked. "You looked great in this one."

"I bet you'd look better in it, though," I winked, and he just rolled his eyes, setting it back in the pile.

"Funny, Elena," he paused for a second before changing the subject. "So, what are you doing tonight? Did you want to maybe go have a few drinks?"

"Ah, I'd love to, but I've got plans tonight," I responded, pulling on my jacket.

"Ohhh, right," his eyes widened before a knowing smirk formed on his face. "I forgot that we were in The Bay."

I rolled my eyes, smacking his chest lightly. "Stop."

"You still haven't told me much about him. Is he like... your boyfriend?" Ben asked.

I shook my head, slinging my purse strap over my shoulder. "No, he's just... I..."

He held up a hand, stopping me as he laughed a little. "It's okay. I get it."

I glanced at the time on my phone. "I probably should get going."

"Oh, yeah. No problem. I'll see you later, Elena," he replied.

We walked out into the parking lot, waving goodbye to the photographer.

"See you," I spoke, heading to my car.

Upon arriving at G's apartment building, I got into the elevator, going up to the top floor to his penthouse apartment. I knocked lightly on the door, and I could hear a slight chatter followed by laughter, and footsteps coming to the door soon after. It swung open a moment later, G standing there. His face lit up with a smile when his eyes settled on me.

"Hey," I spoke, returning the smile.

"Hey," he kept his voice low. "Sorry, Marty and Grady are here, but they shouldn't be for long."

"No worries," I laughed. "Are you going to let me in or what?"

"Oh, yeah," he laughed as well, stepping out of the way. "Come in."

The smell of weed floated through the apartment. Of course, I thought, not surprised in the slightest.

"Elena!" both Marty and Grady exclaimed from their spots on the couch.
