A/N: Finally, I have managed to get something done! This chapter is relatively short and it's late but I can't be bothered to edit this so maybe tomorrow I will but probably not. I set a goal to try and get a chapter written before my birthday and I actually managed to do it with 24 hours to spare so here you go! Soon the plot will get more interesting, I promise. I'm trying to not rush the story because then things get missed and stop making sense. Thank you all so much for still reading this even though I'm horrendous at updating ((also I have only a month left of school so after that updates should get more frequent)). I appreciate the support more than you know. x
Side note this hit over 30k??? You guys are the best.
G's POV
I rolled over the next morning, checking the time on my alarm clock, seeing it was just after ten. Exhaling audibly, I ran a hand across my face, glancing over to see Elena sleeping beside me.
Fuck, I thought to myself. She was literally the definition of perfect. I shook my head, rolling my eyes. She was right; I was getting sappy. I leaned over, kissing her forehead.
"Lena," I whispered. She had to catch a flight back to LA in a couple of hours, much to my disappointment.
She groaned, pushing me away, her eyes still closed. "No."
I chuckled before speaking again. "You gotta get up, I'm sorry. Your rules, not mine."
She sighed, her eyes finally opening. She smiled slightly before gripping my neck, pulling me down toward her. She brushed her lips against mine, the smile still playing on her lips.
"What?" I questioned her. "I don't think I've ever seen you smile this early in the morning... Well, except when my head is between your thighs but that's a different story."
She rolled her eyes, playfully punching me in the chest. "Shut up. I was just thinking about last night... and how you have the worst timing of all worst timings."
I laughed, pulling her onto my lap. "I know. I just wanted you to know before you left for LA again."
"Well, that was very thoughtful of you," she spoke, her tone bordering on sarcasm. "I'm kidding. I'm glad you told me."
I shook my head before pressing my lips against hers, groaning as she began moving her hips against mine. "Fuck, I'm going to miss you."
She laughed, moving her mouth down to my neck. "I know."
I sighed, my grasp tightening on her hips. "Are you sure you have to leave?"
"Do we really have to go through this every time?" she moved away from me, her gaze meeting mine. "Yes, I do. And you have to go back on tour in a couple of days anyways so it's not like it really matters."
"I just..." I trailed off, rubbing a hand across my face. "After all this time, you'd think having to say goodbye to you would get easier, but it doesn't. And after telling you everything last night, I don't know."
She raised an eyebrow at me, a slight smile forming on her face. "You really are going all soft on me, aren't you?"
I rolled my eyes before smirking, moving so she was pinned underneath me. "I don't think so, Lena."
"Oh my god," she laughed, pushing me away. "You're terrible. We don't have time to fuck, though. I'm sorry. I really have to get going, G."
"Lena," I complained, grasping her wrists in my hands. "Come on. I just professed my feelings for you, and now you're just gonna leave me hanging for like a month?"
She looked up, pretending to be deep in thought for a moment. "Yep, that's exactly what I'm going to do. Let me go."
I exhaled audibly, releasing my grip. "Fine."
She sat up, running a hand through her hair. "You'll live, I promise."
"Maybe," I took her face into my hands. "I'm really gonna miss you."
"I'll miss you too, maybe," she responded.
My tongue flickered across my bottom lip as I raised my eyebrows. "Maybe?"
"If you don't shut up and let me leave, I'm not going to have the chance to miss you anyways," she joked, kissing my cheek.
She got off my bed, going to the other side of the room where her bag was placed.
"Right," I responded as I stood up as well.
"Besides, think of it this way," she spoke, walking back over to me and wrapping her arms around my neck. "Once you come back, the sex will be amazing."
She stood on her tiptoes, connecting her lips with mine.
"Fuck, Lena," I mumbled against her lips. "Can't we just fuck like really quick?"
She pulled away, smirking. "Nope. Anyways, either you need to hurry up and get ready or I'll get a cab or something to the airport."
I exhaled audibly as she pulled away from me, taking her bag and leaving the bedroom. I hastily threw on a pair of pants and a shirt before following her out.
We made our way out to my car, stopping to get some coffee on the way to the airport. The drive there was mostly silent, aside from the odd word about tour and the things she had lined up for shoots.
"Did you want me to come and wait with you?" I asked her once we arrived at the airport.
Elena shook her head, grasping the door handle. "I think I can handle it."
"Okay, don't need to be sassy about it," I chuckled.
She looked back at me, rolling her eyes before going to open the door again.
"Hey," I grabbed her arm. "No goodbye kiss?"
Moving her hand from the door to my head, she pressed her lips against mine. "I'll see you in a month, boyfriend."
A slight smirk formed on her face once she pulled away, opening the car door and getting out. She slammed it shut, waving at me before heading toward the doors.
I ran a hand across my face, inhaling sharply. This girl was going to be the fucking death of me.
