A/N: This chapter kind of sucks tbh because it's more of a filler chapter to bridge things together for the ending lol. I'm going to try my best to get this fic done within the next few weeks so it's finished before I have to go back to uni. Thank you all for reading and please vote/comment if you like it. x
The next week passed by rather uneventfully, as G was in the studio for the most part and I just hung out at his apartment. It wasn't that I was angry about this— I knew it was part of his job— it just kind of sucked not being able to spend as much time with him.
"I have to go back to Pasadena tomorrow," I spoke as we finished up some takeout once he'd gotten back from the studio. It was always late by the time he got back, and so we usually ended up eating some form of fast food or takeout that he picked up on the way home.
"What? Why-" he began.
"G," I cut him off, laughing as I finished the last of the wine in my glass. "How many times are we gonna go through this? I have a few shoots to do, and then I gotta be home for Christmas."
He pouted, taking my face in his hands. "I know. I'm selfish, you know that. I was hoping you'd be here with me for Christmas."
I shook my head. "I wish. My mother would literally kill me if I didn't go home, though. I haven't really seen my family much since we went there months ago."
He sighed, his hands dropping from my face. "I get it. I'm gonna miss you."
"Oh my god, G," I laughed again. "I'll be back before you have to go on tour again. Besides, you're always at the studio now, anyways."
"I know," he spoke. "I'm sorry."
"No, don't be sorry. It's your job, remember? I'm not mad. I'm just meaning you're not gonna have any time to miss me," I stood up, going to grab the bottle of wine off the counter.
I heard him get up as well, coming up behind me. I felt his hands move to my waist as he turned me around so I was facing him. "I'm pretty sure I'm gonna still miss you, Lena."
I rolled my eyes as he moved to press his lips against mine. "G..."
"Hmmm?" he mumbled against my lips, lifting me up onto the counter behind us.
"You are not going to fuck me on your kitchen counter," I muttered as he broke the kiss so he could look at me.
He winked before sliding his hands under my shirt. "I might."

"I'll see you in less than two weeks," I laughed as G gripped me tightly, his gaze settled on me.
"I know but..." he trailed off, exhaling. "That's so long."
"Stop being such a baby," I stood on my tiptoes so I could kiss his cheek. "You've gone a lot longer without seeing me."
"Yeah, it's just been nice being able to fuck you every day, I guess," he chuckled, and I gave him a look. "Hey, and I just like spending time with you."
"You're a fucking idiot, seriously," I tried to get away from him, but his grasp on me was firm. "Let me go, I have a long drive, G."
"Lena," he practically whined, moving his hands from my waist to my face. "I love you."
I smirked at him, grabbing his wrists and prying his hands off me. "I know."
He frowned, looking at me expectantly. "Hey."
I grabbed the back of his neck, pulling him down so my lips could meet his. "I love you too, G."
He smiled against my lips before I pulled away a moment later. "I don't think I'll ever get sick of hearing you say that."
"Likewise," I let go of him, moving to open my car door before repeating myself. "I'll see you in two weeks, G."
"Wait," he grabbed my wrist.
"Oh my god, what now?" I laughed.
"Well, you never told me what you want for Christmas," he spoke as I turned to face him again.
"Do not, G," I shook my head. "No presents."
He laughed. "You gotta tell me something."
"No," I responded. "No presents. You got that?"
He raised his hands defensively. "Okay, fine."
I got into my car, pointing at him. "I'm serious. Don't."
"Fine," he said again, but I saw the smirk playing on his lips. "See you later, Lena."
I shook my head, pulling the door closed.
───────────────
The next couple of weeks went by relatively fast, as I was busy with the last couple of shoots before the holidays, as well as numerous get-togethers with family and friends back home.
I spent Christmas day at my parents' house with my siblings and other extended family members. While we were sitting on the couch after opening gifts, I received a text from G: Merry Christmas, Lena. Miss you and wish you were on my face rn ;)
I couldn't help but laugh out loud, which caused my sister to look over at my phone. She raised an eyebrow after she read the text, laughing as well. "Classy boyfriend you've got there."
"You're telling me," I shook my head as I sent a reply.
I was exhausted by the time Christmas was over, and I was glad when the day finally came and went, as sad as it was. The holiday season stressed me out, and I hated all the family stuff, especially. Pretending to get along with them and having to act surprised at the shitty gifts was draining, to say the least.
I also couldn't wait to see G again. As much as I teased him about how sappy he was getting, I knew that I really wasn't any different. I was so excited when I finally arrived back at his apartment, and I was kicking myself for becoming so attached to him.
"Lena," he grinned, taking my face in his hands. "I missed you."
"I missed you too," I breathed as he leaned down to kiss my lips.
"Oh," he pulled away almost instantly, taking my hand and guiding me into his living room. "Come here."
"What are you-"
"Close your eyes," he cut me off.
"Uh," I laughed as he pushed me down onto the couch. "Why?"
"Just do it, please?" he stuck out his bottom lip, and I shook my head but complied anyways.
"You better not do anything disgusting," I warned him as I heard him moving something around.
He laughed. "I'm not. Keep your eyes closed. Put your hands out."
"I really don't trust you," I laughed, hesitant as I did as he told me, and he placed something in my hands. I opened my eyes, seeing a box sitting on my lap. I groaned as I looked up at him, shaking my head. "I literally said no gifts."
"Oh my god," he laughed, sitting down beside me. "Just fucking open it, okay?"
I sighed, unwrapping it. "Did you wrap this yourself? Very nice."
He rolled his eyes. "Don't be sarcastic."
I laughed, taking the lid off the box and pulling out what was inside; a leather jacket. "G..."
"Now you have one that's your size," he chuckled, kissing my forehead. "And you can stop stealing mine."
I shook my head. "Now I feel bad that I didn't get you anything because I specifically said no fucking gifts."
"Don't you worry," he smirked, moving the box and jacket so he could pull me onto his lap. "I've already got exactly what I want."
