They were half ways threw their journey to the castle when the sun had begun to set and Snow had decided they should stop for camp. Regina disagreed, wanting to get to the castle as soon as possible.

Regina knew of something their that she thought would help her. Although Regina was arguing her point with Snow that didn't change Snow's mind.

"We should be getting there as soon as we can." Regina said.

"It will be dark within a hour." Snow said giving a blanket to someone with a smile.

"What, are you afraid of the dark?" Regina insinuated with a quick chuckle.

"It's not safe." Snow said setting the rest of the blankets down on a tree stump.

"So! If anything is to dangerous I can just throw a fireball at it. Or better yet! I could just poof us to the castle." Regina said throwing her arms up.

"That's not safe either, something could have happened you could be teleporting us into a huge ditch where you thought was the entrance." Snow said.

"Then we'll climb out." Regina said sarcastically under her breath.

Snow looked up at Regina, clearly hearing what she had said. "Why are you in such a hurry to get back to the castle anyways?"

Regina knew if she told Snow about her plans she would disagree and undoubtedly stop her. So she just told her something else. "I don't fancy sleeping in the forest." she said with a hint of sarcasm stitched in her words.

"Well your gonna have to 'fancy' it for a night." Snow said handing her a tent clothe.

Regina leaned up against a tree while everyone else put up their tents. She stood there awhile and just fiddled with the material, picking at a loose thread.

"Can you not figure it out?" Snow said amused.

"No, I just don't see why I have to waist my time." Regina said and she threw the tent cloth up in the air, then with the movements of her fingers, thin tree branches came from the trees around them capturing the clothe and holding it up. With one swift movement of her hand in a downwards movement the branches dug themselves in the ground. Enclosing the tent around them.

The dwarfs and some of the other people froze in fear of what just happened in front of them.

"Regina! You're scaring them. You can't just use your magic anymore." Snow said as the people started to disperse still shaking a little.

"I don't have to hide my magic from anyone." Regina said pushing herself off the tree.

"If you don't want to be looked at as the Evil Queen you do."

Regina moved past Snows careless words and went inside her tent. She sat on the ground and cradled her knees that were under the bundle of dress she was in. In a way she almost missed the dresses. Sure the corsets were more than painful, but she felt intimidating, powerful. She could inflict fear in her enemies with a single glance when she wore them.

It wasn't long before night fell and Regina was laying alone in her tent. Her thoughts soon got the best of her and she let herself feel the pain of her heart. Tears streamed down her face but she was silent.

Her hand clutched above her heart. "Only for a moment" she whispered to herself as she looked down at her chest.

Quickly Regina pressed her hand into her chest and pulled out her heart. She still felt sad, but it wasn't as heavy, she could at least carry the pain now. Tears still streamed down her face as she looked upon what she called a heart. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes, and breathing it all out slowly.

David laid awake while Snow laid turned away from him on the other side of the pallet. His mind kept taking him back to what he had seen in the woods. He had never seen Regina brake down let alone even shed a tear before. For the longest time he didn't think it possible for her to feel... well anything. But she didn't just feel things David thought to himself, she felt things deeply, almost with a passion.

David tried to get her off of his mind as he laid back in the bed but no matter how many times he cleared his mind her image always managed to pop up in the front of his mind. He didn't want to just think of her though, he wanted to make sure she was okay. He tried to assure himself that she was fine, but he knew she wasn't. He kept seeing her crying in his arms earlier today in the woods. He didn't know why but he needed to know she was okay.

After a moment he was out of his tent and quietly making his way to hers.

Regina heard footsteps approaching her tent and she pressed her heart back into her chest. As it went in she felt a lump form in her throat. She tried to swallow it down. Luckily Regina was facing away from the entrance of the tent and her crying was hidden.

"Who is it?" Regina asked as she heard the tent flap open.

"It's David."

Regina let out a sigh. "Go away," she said.

"Regina, I just wanted to make sure you were okay." David pleaded.

"Just because you saw me cry doesn't mean I need you to check up on me, I don't need you for anything." Regina tried to keep her voice strong and steady, but she didn't do very well.

He couldn't even hear the shakiness in her voice. He was to distracted by what she had said. He didn't know why but her words found away to hurt him. She never ceased to confuse him.

David let his head drop down and he walked back out of her tent and back to his.

Regina let out a breath she had been holding and scrunched her eyes closed tight trying to cease her crying. Her attempts only lead to an over flow of tears and she brought her knees up to her chest and held herself in a shape that could only be described as a ball, to try and comfort herself as she silently cried.

Both Regina and David laid awake that night not finding an ounce of sleep. Regina tossed and turned on the hard ground. She tried not to think of what was causing her tears to roll down her cheek, instead she tried to think of what she had in mind to do once she reached the castle.

David had rolled from side to side trying to find a comfortable position but soon gave up and laid flat on his back. He stared up at the tent and look at the stars that shown threw a rip in the tent. All of his thoughts were focused on one thing, what she had said. 'I don't need you'
