When that final piece of her heart fell into the pot he had a far different experience then she, a more morbid memory to hold onto. As that last bit of her heart fell from his hands so did she. He rapped his arms around her body, embracing her and they went down together. She fell like rain and her dress splattered around them.

David held her lifeless body in his lap and he wept. Completely and utterly hopeless. This was not at all what he imagined for them to happen. He had had so much hope for them. Hope, He mocked in bitter disdain. A word he used to treasure and live by held no meaning to him now.

He cradled her head, his fingers threaded in her dark tresses. As he cried, one of his tears fell and landed on to her cheek bone where it met one of her own that had fallen before she took her last breath just moments ago. Using the thumb of his hand he wiped the two mingled tears away and dipping his head down he placed a gentle kiss to her forehead.

Then, like seeing the flash of a lighthouse lost at see a name came to him. A name that he had heard from Regina herself just days ago, she had said that that person had saved her once and was the person that prophesied their love in the first place. It was a certain fairy.

Tinker Bell.

If she was truly able to save Regina before, maybe she could save her again somehow. David looked back at the pot that was starting to release a green smoke and saw his time was running out.

Not having a clue how to summon a fairy he yelled out the her name.

"Tinker bell!" He shouted again.

There was nothing for a while. Not a single sound amongst the silence. All you could hear was David's heavy breathing as he yelled her name once more.

"Why must you people shout so much, it's not like us fairies are hard of hearing. We're small not deaf." The fairy in green said growing to human size just in front of his eyes.

"You're Tinker Bell?" David asked drawing the fairy's attention to him.

"Ye- oh my... What happened?" Tink said rushing over to the scene in front of her. She was astonished. How could Regina be dead? She couldn't. Could she?

"We had to enact the dark curse." He said threw his tears.

Tinker knew all about the dark curse. She knew that Regina had cast the curse long ago and she knew exactly what it took to enact such a dark curse. The heart of the thing you love most.

"So she went for the married one." She chuckled under her breath.

"Can you help?" David asked.

Tinker Bell stretched her mouth into a line with a sigh thinking of anything she could do. "There is no spell I can cast to bring her back, but..." She trailed off unsure wether she should even bring it up.

"But what?" He raised his voice a hair, this curse was getting closer.

"Well, you both are soul mates. You have the strongest love of all you share one love, one heart, and maybe... Just maybe you could actually use one heart for the both of you." Tinker bell explained.
