Regina paced back and forth in her chambers she needed to talk to Tink. She was the only one that could help her. Regina wandered where the fairy could be after such a long time pass and gone. Who knows what she's been doing. All Regina knew was that she needed to talk to that fairy and she needed to do it soon.
Half given up Regina didn't know what to do. But then she remembered, you can summon fairies. Once a fairy helps you the fairy is supposed to stay with you, or watch over you, and becomes a fairy god mother. And if you ever found yourself in trouble you could summon her.
Regina stopped pacing, she didn't even know if Tink counted as a fairy god mother since she left. Since you pushed her away. Regina reminded herself. But she had to try.
"Tink! Tinker Bell! How do you even summon a fairy!" Regina asked herself frustrated.
"You don't have to shout I can hear you, everything is ten times louder when your this small." The fairy in green said before waving her wand and growing to human size.
The fairy Regina knew didn't look a day older, but now instead of tight rung curls she wore a big messy bun tied together with a green ribbon. Her clothing was different as well she used to wear bright green leaf dresses and skirts, now she wore dark green shades of material with even darker tights. She looked like she'd been living ruff.
"I need your help." Regina said walking to the fairy.
"Well hi, I'm doing good, thanks for asking." The fairy said walking over and sitting on Regina's bed.
The fairy annualized the former Evil Queen. She had aged some, but with beauty. She still wore the notorious clothing. The dark low cutting dresses, tight leather pants and high heal boots. Tink wanted gawk at it. However, something was off. The dresses didn't look like they belonged to the person in front of her anymore, but someone of a past life. She almost looked out of her element here, she didn't look like she even belonged in her own castle. Well Snow's castle now Tink supposes.
"This is serious." Regina said about to shout. She wasn't angry with the fairy but with the situation she was in. Regina knew the fairy had every right to be angry towards her though.
Don't let the door catch your wings on the way out.
Regina's head rung with those words reminding her how awful she was.
Different.
How different she was. She was afraid if she kept putting herself down she might actually become what she says she is. So she tells herself it was different then.
"Sorry but last time I tried to help you, you got my wings taken away. I had to become a fairy on my own, I built myself up and had to find someone to believe in me. I had to sneak passage way on a pirate ship to get out of a demon hole a little boy likes to call never land." Tink said with heat behind her voice.
"Tink, I'm truly sorry for what I did." Regina said sitting down on the bed beside her.
Tink could see the desperation in her eyes. If she could still find a way to save the Evil Queen maybe Blue would accept her again and see that she was right all along, that she could help Regina.
After a moment of deciding she answered. "Alright, what's the problem."
Regina started from the very beginning, from when they got back to the enchanted forest, to what David did and how she reacted about it. Than to how she fell asleep with him to today and how she walked in on him. "Tink, David had the lion tattoo." Regina spoke the last words slowly.
"That's great! You found your soulmate." Tink said with an honest smile. She truly was happy for the woman even through all the stuff she had to put up with because of her. "What ever could be the matter?"
"He's married,"
"So that's why you need help, your soulmate is married, but if you truly are soul mates the marriage won't last long now that you've found each other. Not to sound heartless or anything to them but it just can't." Tink said with a shrug of her shoulder.
Tink had missed talking with the Queen, she was a good friend a long time ago. And she hasn't had a friend to talk to since. Being in never land with little boys running a much and playing tricks on her, not to mention that dirty pirate always trying to hit on her, she didn't have many to talk to.
"But that's not even the biggest problem." Regina sighed.
"What is then?" Tink asked curious.
"After I saw the tattoo on David... Well I might of over reacted and kissed Robin. It wasn't till after we kissed for the second time that I looked down and saw he had the same marking on his forearm."
"A second lion tattoo?" Tink asked astonished, now this was strange.
"Yes." Regina said nodding her head. "What do I do?"
"Two lion tattoos, two chances at happiness, two different paths of destiny... Two chances for you to completely wreck it." Tink said earning a glare from Regina.
Tink gave an apologetic look and kept going.
"Regina this has never happened before now, someone must think your quite special. Or they just like messing with you." Tink said.
"Tink! What should I do!" She begged.
"Well I'd go for the not married one." Tink said plainly.
"What if I don't want to go for either of them." Regina said receiving the same disappointed look from Tink as she did when she found out she didn't go into the tavern that night. Regina felt a pang of guilt at seeing it once more.
"Not this again." Tink said standing up. "Just know, that your not just ruining your life your ruining there's too. There are two sides to being soul mates, not one." She said walking to the balcony and without another word had shrunken down and flew away.
"Tink!" Regina yelled pointlessly, the fairy was long gone.
Regina let out a "ugh" why do I do that? She asked herself. Why must I push everyone away all the time? She wandered. Tink was a good friend and deserved far better than me.
Regina sat in silence on her bed and began to think of the other issue at hand. No matter who she chose someone else would get hurt. She wondered why, though she's tried to change, she always manages to put someone else in pain. Her happiness at the expense of someone else's.
She truly did want a chance at a happy ending, but even if she wanted to choose, she had to wait. If Zelena found even a single person that Regina loved here in this realm, she would destroy it.
She had to protect her soulmate. Both of them.
