Terror had risen in the enchanted forest. The wicked witch had set fire to a great portion of the land, causing the deaths of many. Their need to vanquish Zelena had only grown but no matter how hard they tried there was no way to melt this witch. That was until someone from their past had decided to come back for a visit.

Belle.

The Prince, the thief, Snow, Regina, and Belle sat at the round table discussing it now. Belle had just told them how the dark one was resurrected, but at the cost of a life. She told them how Rumplestiltskin had absorbed Neal before he would of died, but how Zelena now possessed the dagger and was keeping him locked away in the dark castle.

"But how does that help us defeat the witch?" Snow asked.

"I believe if we can get in the castle and take the dagger, Rumplestiltskin can beat Zelena. He's the most powerful wizard of all time." Belle answered.

"Yes well that's all very good expect there's one problem. How would we get in the castle?" Regina asked leaning back in her chair.

"I could help," the thief chimed in. "I broke into the castle once long ago I'm sure I could manage it a second time."

"What are you even doing here? I don't remember inviting you in." Regina said. Her and the thief had been at odds end since Regina found out his son wasn't actually sick that night of the ball.

"Right now I'm saving your ass." Robin said.

As everyone else was left with gaping mouths and wide eyes Regina was glaring daggers at the thief.

Snow shook herself out of the shock, being more shocked that Regina didn't vaporize Robin than anything, and spoke up. "Look we can use all the help we can get, Regina." Snow said pausing to look at her, only causing Regina to role her eyes at Snow. "We leave for the dark castle tomorrow at dawn." Snow finished looking to the rest of the group.

"Great." Regina said sarcastically under her breath and scooting out of her chair. She walked out of the room and went to her bed chambers.

It wasn't to long before a knock sounded at her door.

"Go away." Regina said restlessly.

"I'm not leaving until you let me in and we talk about this." The Prince said from the other side of the door.

Regina let out a sigh and dragged herself to the door. She didn't open it but she rested her forehead against it. "What's there to talk about." Regina said placing her hand on the door.

"You know what, Regina. You've been avoiding me ever since- the night of the ball... Look, please just open the door." David said.

"Let me in." He pleaded.

Regina took a deep breath and pushed herself off the door, then opening it. She didn't make eye contact with him, she kept her gaze to the floor as she let her hand drop from the door she'd just opened.

She honestly didn't know why she opened the door for him. She didn't have to. But something in his voice beckoned her to do so. Almost as though she had a soft spot for him among her ruff and sharp exterior.

"Regina." He breathed out.

"David you don't have to explain yourself, we can forget about what happened." Regina spoke softly.

"But I don't want to forget." David said stepping inside.

Regina was silent for a moment, her eyebrow furrowed in concentration and confusion. "What?" Regina mocked.

"I can't explain what happened that night, or why it did, but it felt... Right." David said inclosing one of her delicate hands with his own.

Regina loved the way his hand felt around hers. Holding his hand filled her with warmth. It almost would of tugged a smile at her lips. If she could she would never let it go. But in the back of her head she knew she couldn't, in the back of her head she was yelling at how stupid she was being.
