A vacuous smile on a familiar face.
She may have bought your attention,
But she can never take my place. She'll never love you like I do.
No, she can't even come close.
But of all the scars across my back,
It's yours that bleeds the most. You turned your back without a thought.
You vanished without a trace.
I bled for your well-being.
You never asked if I was okay.Your actions, your negligence,
Your lack of basic communication.
A love so pure now a victim
Of your deadly negation.Empty heart, empty soul:
The clichéd story of a love stone cold.
Now you're a just a stranger,
Someone that I no longer know.
