There once was a girl,
With a future so bright.
But she did not want it,
She belonged to the night.There once was a girl,
With secrets locked tight.
She refused to tell anyone,
She ran from far the light.There once was a girl,
Who always questioned her life.
She'd pray to God to take her away.
She couldn't bear the thought
Of another day.She took quite a liking
To razors and knives;
She disregarded all advice.
She didn't care, she wouldn't listen,
Even though she knew it wasn't right.She departed two days ago.
Although this was unseen.
For in some ways she's still here,
For this pathetic girl is me.
