You know what I want?
It's not that hard.
You know what I want?
To be your shooting star.I'm calling out,
I don't know where you are.
And I'm trying not to let
These words slip out.
I don't want what's on my mind
To find its way out of my mouth. They turn and stare with their hollow eyes,
Trying so hard to corrupt what is mine.
Do you know I'm so damn lonely
I could die?I'm craving love like thorns need a vine.
But if you're the petals on the rose,
Then who am I?They turn to inquire why
My heart is so closed.
The reason, my darling,
Is one that you'll never know.
