It's a cruel world we live in,
For this I know too well.
Claiming heaven is a place on earth,
Yet I find myself in hell.
Society tells you to be yourself.
But retracts, "Just not like that."
If society embodied itself into a person,
I'd be the first to stab her in the back.
Perhaps you'll read this as violent,
And claim I'm overreacting.
Don't even try to walk
In my shoes, sweetheart.
You're not that good at acting.
