Darling, I hope this doesn't disappoint you.
Last Monday, I skipped school;
Went to go relieve my blues.Darling, I bought a gun;
Put it up against my head.
I pulled the trigger,
Watching as she fell dead.I didn't mean to do it.
I just had to relieve myself
From this conscious, burning hell.But darling,
Though she might have died.
You could say I saved her life.
She wouldn't have slept another night.Look, she's happy now.
She can finally be herself.
The old me was just a shell.I killed the girl;
The girl I used to be.
Maybe now I can be free.
Moving on, I can be me.
