"I will never leave your side.
I'll be yours, and you'll be mine.
Forever and ever will surely be our time."
"You'll never have to fear again.
I shall protect you till the end.
You won't even know the meaning
Of loss till you are dead."
"I'll take your heart and hold you tight.
I promise to always treat you right.
I promise every dark day comes a brighter night."
It all sounds so good,
It's practically dripping in sweetness.
But with sweetness comes lies,
And with lies follows secrets.
You said you'd love me forever.
Forever is hindering creases.
It's all hush; it's all quiet
As I start to fall to pieces.
"Bless her weary soul.
Her lover's found another,
Now she'll surely be alone."
"Don't tell her.
Don't break her heart.
Let her believe it's as quaint
As it was from the start."
You approach me with a grin,
Thinking I'm never bound to win.
And so I flash a smile back,
Knowing the next time that I see you,
I'll be dressed in black.
You confess that you're sorry,
That it was all a mistake.
I say it's quite okay,
As I bury you in your grave.
Liars will be liars,
The truth to them is old.
If confronted with a liar,
Be sure to render their pulse cold.
