She killed her lover.
She took his life.
She felt no mercy,
For his lies raised the knife.They told her not to do it.
She never listened well.
Now she's covered in blood,
Even down to her fingernails.She was told once before:
"All's fair in love in war."
But she knew life wasn't fair.
Desperation made her its whore.What she wanted was to love.
But to be loved is not the same.
Now in the ground she lies,
Forever bound by pain.
