Since I never really explained the whole breaking up situation fully, I decided to do that before making a "you get back together" preference. Anyway, hope you enjoy and I'm warning you, feels...

~Steve~

You heaved a loud sigh, and collapsed on your bed, not looking up to face your boyfriend Steve. The two of you had just gotten back from a mission, and you had made the decision to run straight into the line of enemy fire to confiscate a set of files that was going to be used to make a weapon for HYDRA.

You turned your head when you heard the door slam, and you winced, the pain in your shoulder growing stronger. You'd only gotten shot in the shoulder, but Steve had told you that the damage could've been much worse and you needed to be more careful. He had been able to stay calm while on the helicarrier, but now was a different story.

"(Y/N) you know that was a stupid thing to do back there."

You sucked in a breath, and sat up, keeping your gaze expressionless as you faced Steve. "I'm not hurt that badly, and I got the files didn't I? I don't understand why you're so angry."

Steve crossed his arm, giving you the same expression you were giving him. "(Y/N), we only got the files at the potential of another HYDRA agent being able to intercept the files from you, and at the stake of risking your own God damn life!"

"Language." You muttered under your breath, but Steve must've heard you because he slammed his fists on the table making you jump from your position on the bed.

"Can you not take anything seriously? Is everything a joke to you?" He shouted.

"Funny things are." You replied smoothly, trying to keep your powers from outbursting due to the tension.

Steve then did something you didn't expect him to do. He laughed. "My God, you are such a Stark you know that? Everything about you just screams Stark. The sarcastic remarks, the impulsive actions, the recklessness, the way you can't seem to take anything seriously!"

At this point, you were angry. You were nothing like Tony. Despite the two of you being half-siblings, you wanted as little resemblance and contact with him as possible, and Steve knew that, and he was bringing this up now?

"Well, excuse me if I just successfully completed a mission that nobody else was able to do!" You shouted, standing up to face Steve, feeling the stitched bullet wound throb on your shoulder.

Steve threw out his hand dramtically. "See?! There you go again acting just like a Stark! You think you're better than everyone else and won't let anyone forget it!"

You could feel a tear stinging at the corner of your eye and you hastily wiped it away, choosing to be angry over sad. "Newsflash, Steve! You're the one who's dating me, remember? You're the one who decided to deal with every single bit of me!"

"Yeah? Well, maybe I made a mistake!"

Those last words are what broke you.

The whole world moved in a blur, and you didn't even remember anything except slamming the apartment door, and waking up with your face red and swollen from tears, in your old cabin, wishing you had never joined the Avengers in the first place.

~Tony~

You sat glumly across the table from Tony, stirring your martini and drifting deep into thought.

The two of you were on a date at a fancy restaurant, and Tony was seated across the white clothed table, grinning at his phone. You wished he'd pay more attention to you, but he seemed to be lacking in the attention giving department lately.
