*Clint's POV*

Six months.

Six months I've gone without seeing (Y/N)'s face, hearing her voice, tasting her lips, feeling her body against mine.

To say I felt like shit would be an understatement. I felt like I my entire heart had been ripped out of my chest, and stomped on by the Hulk.

I hadn't even left my room in the Avengers tower. Nat would bring me up food, tell me how she was sorry, yell at me to come out, scold me on how I was being stupid, and I needed to get over (Y/N).

But I couldn't. Her figure was etched into my mind and there was no erasing it. Her laugh was on repeat and her scent still lingered on some of the clothing she had left behind.

God, (Y/N), couldn't you just let me finish?

I clutched the velvet box in my hand, wishing I had just interrupted her to ask the question I'd had on the tip of my tongue for what felt like forever.

She's probably moved on. Gone back to competing and dating one of her Olympic teammates.

At this thought, I threw the box against the wall, half-heartedly wishing it would just smash into a million pieces, and almost feeling forlorn when it didn't.

I heard a knock outside the door.

"Fuck off."

I heard the door open anyway, and I sat up from where I was lying on my bed. "Didn't I tell you to-"

I stopped short. Was this truely happening? Had she come back to me? Was this just some hallucination or a cruel trick from Tony?

(Y/N) stood in front of me, holding something that looked like a piece of paper in her hand. "Clint...I..."

I couldn't talk. I just couldn't. I took a step forward. "(Y/N)?" I managed to mutter her name. "Wh-why are you back?"

"Clint, I didn't know that's what you trying to say. I'm so sorry."

I took another step, and we were face to face, my hands brushing hers. I took the paper out of her hand, and glanced down at it.

(Y/N) (L/N)
Will you marry me?

She found it.

I couldn't stop myself, I went down pressed my lips to hers. I was so overjoyed when she kissed me back. When we pulled away, I only heard one thing, the one thing I'd been longing to hear ever since six months ago.

"Yes."

~Bruce~

You were walking the streets of New York, breathing in the warm, summer air. You had decided to move there, despite it being where Bruce lived, because it was amazing there, and you had fallen i love with the city.

The city remained the same since you and Bruce had broken up, but you had changed.

You were more quiet now, as it was harder to think of things to say, and you were working at a high school as a chemistry since you quit your job at Harvard.

You sighed, and closed your eye's for a moment, when suddenly, you ran smack into something. You opened your eye's, and prepared to apologize, when you saw Bruce staring back at you.
