~Liam's POV~

"Hey Daisy!" I yelled, checking my watch. "We have to go."

"I'm coming down right now," she replied.

Sure enough, she walked down the stairs. I looked at what she was wearing: a red dress with heels and simple jewelry. I took a second look at the dress.

"Is that the dress from...?" I asked, letting my question trail off.

"Yeah," she said.

It was the dress I had suggested from the first store.

"You were right after all. Red looks great."

I couldn't believe she had done that. She bought the dress that I offered just because I had.

"You look stunning," I said honestly.

"You don't look too bad yourself."

I offered my arm. "Shall we go?" I asked.

"We shall," she replied.

We pulled into the parking lot of the restauraunt and I ran over to the other side of the car to open the door. She took my hand, and we entered.

"A reservation for Kelly and Drew?" I asked, hating the way it sounded in my mouth.

"Right this way." The waiter led Daisy and me to a secluded table.

"You made it," Drew said to Daisy.

"Yes. How are you?"

"I'm fine, thanks."

"Are you ready to order drinks?" Kelly asked.

"Sure," I said.

"I'll have a root beer," Daisy said.

"A coke, please."

"Liam," Kelly asked teasing. "Why don't you order wine?"

"I don't drink," I replied. "Remember?"

"Oh right. How could I forget?" Drew snorted. "You only have one kidney. I'll have a scotch please."

"Red wine," Kelly said.

"How'd you swing that?" I asked when the waiter walked away.

"I know some people," Drew said smugly.

"Right," Daisy said breaking the awkward pause after that. "So, Kelly, Liam tells me that you like to dance?"

"I love it. We're actually going to the club after if you'd like to join us."

"Except Liam wouldn't be able to drink," Drew laughed.

I ignored his comment.

"We'd love to come," Daisy said.

"We would?" I asked, stupidly.

"Yes, we would."

"What do you do for a job, Daisy?" Kelly asked.

"I write," she said.

"You do?" Kelly asked.

"Yes. It doesn't pay much, but hopefully the book I'm working on will be my ticket out of here."

"What's it about?" Drew asked.

"You'll find out when it's published."

I responded to Daisy's comment, "She's working with an editor right now."

"Well, you'll have to let me read it some time," Kelly said.

"Definitely."

We ordered food and Kelly kept up our conversation. "And I just love your dress," she gushed to Daisy.
