~Liam’s POV~

The morning light streamed through my shutters.  I woke up, well rested, and ready to start the day.

I smelled waffles being cooked, and I eagerly entered the kitchen.

“Those smell awesome,” I told my dad.

“Good.  They’re almost ready if you would set the table and call everyone down.”

     “Sure.”

I did so, and soon we were all pouring syrup over the chocolate-chip waffles.

“What time do you leave today?” My mum asked.

“As much as I hate to say it, we probably have to leave as possible.  The boys and I have a rehearsal tonight, and they want me to be early.”

Daisy asked me, “What’s the rehearsal for?”

“We’re having another concert tomorrow. It’s a small event, but we still have to practice.”

     “Of course,” She said.

“Do you need anything for the ride back?” My dad asked.

“I think we’re okay,” Daisy replied.  “Thanks though.”

We finished up breakfast, and packed up our things.  Then, we said goodbye to my family.

“Goodbye Liam,” Nicola sighed, hugging me.

“Love you, Nicola.  Be sure that your next boyfriend is a nice guy, okay?”

She looked at me, annoyed, and I just ruffled her hair.

    “Kidding.”

Ruth attacked me, “I love you, Liam!”

“I love you too Ruth,” I laughed.

My dad just shook my hand, and wished me well until he saw me again.  My mum tried not to cry as she gripped me against her.

“Mum, I’ll be back in a few weeks.  Don’t worry.”

“I’ll miss you, Liam.  Come back home soon.”

    “I love you.”

She kissed me on the cheek and then let me go out to the car.  Daisy and I drove off, waving out the windows until my house was just a speck in the rearview mirror.

Daisy and I continued our game of “getting to know each other.”

“If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?” I asked.

“Logan Lerman,” she replied.  “He’s hot.”

“If you could have any car, which one would you pick?”

      “A bright red Ferrari.”

      “What’s your favorite flower?”

      “Um, I guess a tulip?”

      “Coke or Pepsi?”

      “Coke.”

      “Favorite song?”

“That’s impossible for me to pick. But one of them is “What I Know,” by Parachute.”

       “Favorite singer?”
