.......................................

The car tires tread heavily against the loose gravel concrete of the mansions long winding road. At first I had no idea where I was due to the long car ride, but when I clear the haze from my eyes, I was a little shocked. Why was I going back to Christian's mansion? Pretty sure he was not fine with the entire 'having kids' situation the last I checked, so why was Sebastian taking me here when I should be going home taking care of my son?

No words could describe what was going through my mind. I was beyond blessed with this miracle and forever grateful for the long awaited prayer. On the other hand, this puts my son in direct danger. That notion allowed my mind to begin imagining the worst scenarios possible in terms of our son losing me or Christian.

The moment I lay eyes on him, I couldn't bare the thought of him leaving my sight. Those were the worries a accompany me all the time now. But through the hardship, I saw a blessing. I knew my prayers have finally answered, that I finally had a child of my own.

Bright rays of sunlight break through the gaps in the trees and onto the car, embracing the warmth against my face. At least I was breathing home air. Yet again, I don't even know where 'home' is to me. A part of me was chopping at the bit to say 'with Christian', but the other half was reminding me 'not after having this baby'.

The entire car ride home was filled with silence, partly because I had no freaking clue how to process the last month, and everything that has happened. Losing my memories, trusting Joey Styles with all the crap he pulled over my eyes, finding out the truth, almost killing Christian, all to wind up back to the Nakumora's Dojo and giving birth to a baby I thought I miscarried. Not your average month to say the least.

Come to think of it, where in the hell was Nakumora? His Dojo was surrounded on all sides and last I saw of him was a look of distain towards me I chose to give up when I knew I could fight back. None of that made sense.

With my hand protectively draped around the baby car seat, the car begins to slow down in the front of the 20ft wooden entrance door. As soon as I glance up at the mansion, my mind travels back to Christian, whether he's safe to come home yet.

"Why did you bring me here? In case you haven't realized, I wasn't exactly prepared for a baby. And doubt Christian was either..", I protested as I reluctantly exited the car with the baby in my arms.

"All I've been told to do is to get you back to his place, and never let either of you out of my sight. His words", he counters.

My eyes travel down at the baby, and his blue eyes spring open from a nap. The sight of him made me believe this was all too good to be true, and that I was immensely blessed to have him.
Then I contemplate Christian's orders, why he would want me and the baby to remain at the mansion when I know wants nothing to do this.

"What do you think, kid? You think your father's crazy?", I joked as I smile down at the baby, still indecisive about the name I've chosen. He pulls his fist into his mouth and began chewing on it. My heart melted at the sight. Cute, but he was obviously hungry. I was quite shocked to see how well I adapted to all his wants and needs, yet I couldn't believe he was right before my eyes.

"Yeah. Me too"....

"Sebastian, I can't take care of a baby without baby items, and I highly doubt Christian was expecting a bouncing baby boy in an 85 acre mansion". He pulls the last of the bags out of the trunk, the very few supplies I got on the way down here.

"Look he didn't say much. But from what I remember, hulk's orders were somewhere along the lines of 'you keep your eyes open or I'll close them permanently for you'. French-Canadians are polite they said. So how about you help me keep my money maker, kid", he grinned sarcastically at the baby.
