(Noah's P.O.V)
I leant back on the skateboard and slid under the car, noting little significant problems. Gosh! This guy comes in almost every week insisting that there is something wrong with his damn car.
I sigh a breath of frustration and relief. "Can't see any damage to the car. Thank you for bringing it in for a maintenance check, again..." I noted sarcastically before reaching for the towel on my shoulder. His eyes trailed where my arms went, then back down onto my body.
"Hey! Frank!" I clicked my fingers several times to snap him out of his gaze. "I don't know why you keep insisting on coming here. It's basic wear and tear you got going on. Your fluids need changing and your tires could use a little pump, which is weird considering I handled that last week" I informed him.
I'm pretty sure this guys in his 30's yet still insists on hitting on everything that walks! I mean, I've got on a grey tank top tucked in baggy track pants with a slightly dirty white towel hanging over my shoulder. There ain't much to see here buddy!
"Hey Tommy!" I yelled to my coworker before he soon came over. He had a boyish look going on. Baby faced with big brown eyes and spiky black hair. You could say he's the heartthrob of any lonely housewife visiting. He also happens to be the nephew of the owner here.
"Why don't you go with Tommy. He'll check the fluid for you while I pick out the tires" I insisted.
"Sure, one second please", Tommy answers as Frank reluctantly walked over to his car. We both rolled our eyes as we stepped over to the cash register before he began typing in numbers. "I see Frank's here, again. What does he 'need' this time?" He questions sarcastically and I smirk.
"Honestly? I've never seen his car in more pristine condition" I laughed as he chuckled and shook his head.
"Damn. What is it with every single guy hitting on you. What is there to see? I mean think about it. You come to work everyday in baggy clothing, that awesome up do you call trendy and that spotless white towel hanging out of your back pocket", he sarcastically jokes.
"Oh yeah? Pretty trendy right now. As a matter of fact, you were my inspiration" I remarked.
"Are you saying that I never look better than you?" He asked, but it sounded more like a challenge as he laughed before resting his crossed arms on the bench. "You listen here, Pierce. I can pull anyone I want. Hell, I could pull Frank if I wanted if that's what you mean...." He boasts before my chuckled to myself and shook my head in amusement.
"I didn't say anything about a man, you came up with that one on your own.." I laughed before slumping the white cloth of my shoulder and towards the tire rack. Tommy stood there, appearing to shrug it off but he knew that I had him stumped.
In all honestly, it's fun working here and all. I've always had a passion for cars and motor work. But this job is merely a cover up, a fasacde so to speak. It's all a hoax. Because I knew right from the start that no one would suspect a female car mechanic to be more than what she appears. But god damn! Who knew there are were many perverted men in Connecticut.
Yes. Orange fucking County, Connecticut. Even after a hell of a lot of deliberation, I decided to stay. The only reason being that it had to keep the fire burning inside of me. It occurred to me that if I decided to leave Connecticut, then that fire that sparked my hate for my monster of a father will diminish. It's a painful reminder, granted, but if it meant keeping me focused on revenge, then I willing to make that sacrifice.
