When It Started

CHAPTER 15

CHANDLER'S POV

"Alex!" Dane screamed. Alex ran to Sam and Dane's arm and they hugged each other. "Hey." I heard someone say and I saw Luke Michael Ashton and Calum. "Woah you guys survived?" I asked him. "You survived?" Luke asked me. "I would be dead by now if Alex didn't save me when all of this started." I told them. They entered and we closed the gate we lead them to their own house they had to share. Alex gave them a tour while I just walked around the village. I was sitting on the edge of the wall when I heard someone knock on the door.

I immediately went looking for Alex. "Someones at the gate." I told her she nodded looks like shes done with the tour. We walked to the gate and opened it. I suddenly saw
familiar blonde hair and the face of the devil. "Bri?" I asked. "Chan Chan!" She screamed and wrapped her legs and arms around me. Alex sighed and closed the gate. I saw a hint of sadness in Alex's dark brown eyes. "I'll just be at the tower its our shift anyways." She said. I pushed Bri off me. Alex was my work partner in the Zone. Suddenly Bri tried to kiss me. I stopped her. "For the thousand time Bri I hate you I don't date girls like you anymore." aka sluts I told her. "Why did you find someone else?" She asked me. "No I didn't now leave me alone Brittany." I said and I went up the tower. When I got up I looked out the window and saw her flirting with James.
"Slut." I whispered. I looked behind me and I saw Alex looking out side the window. I sat down on the table and before I knew it it was dark time. I saw Daryl showing Bri a house good for one to two persons I heard her shouting. "But I want to be with Chandler!" But Daryl just shook his head and left her there. Huh Serves her right.

I looked at Alex she was so deep in thought . "Alex you coming?" I asked her. "Huh? Oh yeah." She said she stood up from her chair and fixed her hair.  I opened the door and waited for Alex. "Ladies first." I said. "But you're a king you should go first." She joked. "King?" I asked her. "Yeah. Drool king." She joked and ran going down the stairs I chased after her. I caught her hand and pulled her. "What you said ladies first." She told me. "You said I was the Cool king and kings go first." I said. "Not cool drool." She said and we  laughed. "I'll get back at you." I told her. We saw Norman and Andrew go up the tower for their shift. "Race you to the house." I asked her. "You're on!" She said and started sprinting to the house. In the end I won because she saw a cockroach that scared the life out of her.

We went inside and caught Austin cuddling with Katlyn. "Well well well its not that cold." I told them. Alex closed the door and playfully punched me arm. "Way to ruin the moment Riggs."  She said. I laughed and pulled her and ruffled her hair. She was only until my chest thats how short she was. But also the right hight for being half of something. She glared at me and I laughed. She just shook her head and smiled. "I'm going to cook dinner." She said. "I'll help." Katlyn said and she stood up from Austin's embrace. "Aw man it was good while it lasted." Austin  said. "Don't worry I'll be back." She said and walked into the kitchen.

"Danm she's like and Angel." Austin said. I laughed and sat beside him. "And you're the ugly devil." I told him. "And I looked like you." He told me. "Yeah.Wait what?" I asked him and he laughed. "Drool king." He said. "wait how'd you know about that." I asked him. "Just because I'm not her #1 best friend doesn't mean she doesn't tell me things." He told me. "Guys!" Katlyn and Alex screamed from the kitchen. "Yeah?" We asked.

"Can you Call Sam, Dane and the boys to come and have dinner with us?" Alex asked. I looked at her and nodded. I grabbed the phone and started calling Luke's house.

L:Hello?

C: Luke its Chandler Alex said if you wanted to have dinner with us?

L:Sure I'll got tell the others.

C: Great bye.

L: Bye

~End of phone call~

I ended the call and just chatted with Austin until the food was
ready.

Luke's POV

I rushed upstairs and knocked on Michael's room. "Dude go call Sam and Calum I'll go call Ash and Dane." I said "Why?" He asked. "Alex invited us to dinner." I told him and he nodded and I went to Ashton's room. "Ash." I said while knocking on the door. "Yeah one minute." I heard shuffling of feet and Ashton opened the door with the whole comforter wrapped around him. "Why are you like that?" I asked him. "I *yawn* taking  naaaap." He said. "And I was about to kiss the girl IN my dreams but you woke me up." He said. "The girl IN you're dreams might be a walker right now." I joked. "Way to ruin it dude." He told me. "Just fix you're self Alex invited us to dinner. "
I told him and he nodded.

I walked over to Dane's room. "Dane?" I asked and knocked on her door. No answer. "Dane?" I asked again. Still no answer. I was trying to open the door but it was locked. "Shit." I heard her whisper and I heard a door close. Suddenly I heard rustling and shuffling of feet until the door opened she was wearing shorts and a black 1D sweater.

"Yeah?" She asked. "Dinner at Alex's meet you downstairs?" I asked her "Yeah." She said and slammed the door. WTF I thought. I ignored it and went to my room to change which was across danes the rooms were like

I went inside and got my hoodie and just wore it and rushed downstairs.
When I got downstairs I saw everyone chatting except for Dane she was fiddling with something in her wrist.
"Guys?" I called them and Dane suddenly stopped playing with her sleeves and looked at me. "Lets go?" I asked them Sam Dane and Ashton nodded while Calum and Michael just stood up and the others followed we started walking to Alex's house. "Dane?" I called her and walked beside her. "Are you ok? You were fiddling with your wrists back there." I told her. She did not answer. I did not bother her anymore and we just went to eat dinner with them.

~After Dinner~

Dane barely ate her food she kept of fiddling with her wrist the majority of the time. "I need to
go. Bye." She said to Alex and the group in the house. I followed her leaving the others there to
stay for a while. "Dane whats wrong?" I asked her. She kept on walking ignoring me. "Dane?" I asked her. Then she mumbled something. "Dane whats
wrong? " I asked her. She mumbles something again. "Dane I can understand y-" I was cut off. "Luke stop following me ok." She said calmly. "Tell me Dane whats wrong." I told her and she kept quiet. "Dane tell me what the fuck is wrong with you?!" I screamed. "Its none of your business Luke!" She screamed and ran off. "Dane!" I screamed but she kept on running. "Dane!" I tried to call her again but she was out of sight. I spent 2 hours searching for her in the Zone until I gave up and went back home. I looked at the clock and it was 12:00 midnight. I sat down and just played our songs like Heart break girl ,English love affair , Voodoo doll and many more.
By 12:30 they were back except for Dane. I just continued playing the guitar and before I knew it it was 2:00
am. I heard the door open and close and I peaked through my door and saw Dane going inside her room. I think she was crying. I wanted to comfort her so bad but like she said it was none of my business. I could not risk her running away for good so I just ignored it for a while. I just laid down on my bed and before I knew it I was drifting off to sleep.
